Kill Em All Slot Review
Kill ’em all, so sayeth Nolimit City, the godfathers of edge and gore. Before the bodies hit the floor, one question remains: why are we killing them all? For treasure, naturally. And nobody dishes out death for gold quite like Nolimit City.
Kill Em All is the latest to hit the Nolimit Lab lineup, which showcases games with some of their craziest ideas. Some are barely even slots at all, and Kill Em All fits the bill, feeling more like a video game than a slot.
It’s not our first rodeo with a gamified slot. Kill Em All reminds us a little of Eldritch Dungeon, Print Studios’ very own dungeon crawler. It’s unclear to us whether the demand for gamification in gambling is as high as studios think, but we’re excited and quite duty-bound to oblige with Nolimit’s demands. You see, Kill Em All isn’t a suggestion, it’s a command, and who are we to deny their bloodthirsty?

Base Game & Features
Kill Em All is another slot to join the Nolimit Labs series, consisting of 3 reels and 1 row. Each symbol that lands will trigger a Respin, except for the ‘X’ symbol. If 3 Weapon symbols land in the same spin, 5 Respins are awarded. This game is classified as a high volatility (8/10) slot, offering an overall RTP of 96.06% and a sizable max win cap of 11,916x your bet.
When a Weapon symbol appears, it will cause damage to the current Monster, reducing its life by -1. Each Weapon symbol has its own Hit Value, which counts as the number of hits:
- Blue Weapon: Reduces the monster’s life by -1
- Green Weapon: Reduces the monster’s life by -2
- Yellow Weapon: Reduces the monster’s life by -3
- Red Weapon: Reduces the monster’s life by -4
If a Monster has fewer lives than the hit value of a weapon, the remaining hits will not carry over to the next monster in the queue. Furthermore, weapon symbols can randomly award Critical Hits, which remove 3 Lives from the current monster. Please note that hit points from the critical hit are not carried over to the next monster.
Monsters
When a game round begins, a Trail of Monsters is generated in a queue, where 1 monster is revealed simultaneously. Each Monster has a specific number of Lives, which are represented by hearts. Each monster will die if it loses all its lives, awarding 1 or more Chests after its defeat.
Every 4th, 8th, and 12th Monster in the queue is a special Boss Monster. When a Boss Monster is eliminated, a special Level Up Feature and Chest(s) are awarded. When all 3 Boss Monsters are defeated, the player receives a Chest Level of 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
Chests & Chest Features
After each Monster elimination, a special Chest containing Payouts and/or Chest Features will be awarded:
- Brown Chest: Award payouts between 0.25x and 15x your bet
- Blue Chest: Award payouts between 2x and 50x your bet
- Green Chest: Award payouts between 5x and 200x your bet
- Red Chest: Award payouts between 25x and 1,000x your bet
In addition to Payouts, the following Chest Features can be awarded:
- Multiplier: Multiplies wins by 2x-5x your base bet
- Respin/Free Spins: Awards +2 Respins in the base game or +2 Free Spins in either bonus games
- Bonus & Super Bonus: Is collected in the bonus inventory and behaves in the same manner as they do after landing in the base game
- Chest Upgrade: Enhances the chest to a higher level. Payouts are awarded after this function
- Double Chests: The current chest will contain 2 chests of the same level
- Shrink Potion: Sets the next monster’s total life to 1
- Silver Sword: Guarantees a win between 1x and 5x your bet each time it hits a monster, until the next monster is eliminated

Level Up Features
Level Up features are awarded by Boss Monsters, remaining persistent throughout the round. Each round can have up to 3 level-up features at once, or 4 during Dungeon Domination Spins. Please note that only 2 identical level-up features can appear at the same time. The level-up features available are as follows:
- Sticky Multiplier: Offers a multiplier value between x2 and x5, which applies to the payout of current and upcoming spins. If 2 Sticky Multipliers in the inventory, their values are combined before being applied to the payout.
- Extra Chest: Offers an additional chest when a Boss Monster is eliminated.
- Weapon Upgrade: When a weapon upgrade symbol hits, each Weapon symbol is upgraded by one, up to a maximum of Level 4.
- Chest Upgrade: Enhances all chests to a higher value. Payouts are awarded after this feature.

Dungeon Smackdown Spins

During this round, progressions and features from the base game are carried over and remain persistent throughout the feature. Each time a Weapon symbol hits, an additional +1 Free Spin is awarded.
Dungeon Domination Spins
Landing 2 Bonus symbols and 1 Super Bonus symbol triggers the Dungeon Domination mode, awarding 5 Free Spins.
During this round, progressions and features from the base game are carried over and remain persistent throughout the feature. Each Weapon symbol to hit will award an additional +1 Free Spin. In this round, you can have up to 4 Level-Up features.

Extra Spin
At the end of a bonus game, players may be offered the opportunity to purchase an additional spin. The extra spin will retain your current state from the previous spin. The cost will be calculated based on the number of monsters eliminated. If the cost of the extra spin is less than or equal to the total win of the previous spin, this option will be presented.
Our Honest Verdict
Kill Em All is remarkably straightforward. It’s based on 3 simple reels, 1 row, weapons and lives to slay these unearthly monsters. Simply kill without remorse, and move on to the next, slay them, and so on and so forth. Its level-up features like multipliers, extra chests, and weapon upgrades really make it feel like a game – a game where upgrades make a meaningful difference.
It relies very heavily on momentum, which is somewhat of a drawback if you’re hoping for action straight off the bat, but we argue that the building of this momentum is what makes Kill Em All so exciting.
It’s a better game if you’re not from the UK, as is the case with all Nolimit City slots. The Nolimit City Bonus features like the instant Boss Fight, Boosted Chest, and instant access to the bonus rounds really make Kill Em All shine, but we’d advise those restricted by jurisdiction to stick with it. We loved Print Studios’ offering, but it was long and drawn out in some areas. It feels like Nolimit City has really streamlined this one, getting straight to the point and into the action.
Statistically, it’s great, but modest by Nolimit standards at 11,961x the bet. This happens once in every 350k spins with the 96.06% RTP variant, which isn’t bad considering some of their more volatile slots throw out a max win in millions of spins. In other words, a great choice for players with an appetite for lower volatility.
Overall, Kill Em All is a noteworthy addition to the Nolimit Lab family. It may not resonate with those with a preference for traditional slots, but their ingenuity can’t be denied.
