Base Game & Features
Knights of the Golden Egg is a 5-reel slot game with varying row heights of 3-4-5-4-3 for each of the game’s reels. This results in a total of 720 ways to win, with payouts being awarded for matching symbols adjacently on the reels from left to right, beginning with the leftmost reel.
The payouts in this game vary quite a bit for each of the game’s symbols. There are the low-paying symbols, represented by the 10-A symbols, offering payouts ranging from 0.2x to 2x your bet.
And there are the high-paying symbols, represented by various theme-related symbols, offering payouts ranging from 1x to 8x your bet. In addition, Wild symbols appear on reels 2-5. Other noteworthy attributes include an overall RTP of 96.24%, a max win cap of 3,000x your bet, and a high volatility rating.
Knight Symbols
While playing Knights of the Golden Egg, 3 unique Knight symbols can land, each equipped with the following functions:
- Collect Knight: Appears on reel 1 and acts as a Nudging symbol. It will nudge to fill the entire reel whenever it lands in view anywhere on the reel. The express collect feature is activated by landing prize symbols between 0.6x and 200x your bet on adjacent reels. When this happens, the values of all prize symbols will be collected.
- Wizard Knight: Appears on reel 5 and works in conjunction with the Collect Knight when 1 or more prizes land on reels 2-4. Wizard and Collect Knights transform into Prize symbols, whilst credit values are added together and shown on the Golden Egg prize. 5 Free Spins are activated, with the Golden Egg dropping into 1 of 5 possible spots per spin. Golden Eggs are multiplied by the value of their landing location, between x1 and x8.
- Archer Knight: Appears on reel 5 and triggers when it lands alongside the Collect Knight or 1 or more prizes on reels 2-4. Once active, the Collect Knight transforms into a prize symbol, whilst other prize symbols are added together to create a single value. This feature awards 5 Free Spins, where target, boost, and +1 symbols can land. Reels 1-4 can reveal target symbols or credit prizes. Each credit prize can move up rows at the end of each spin. Boost symbols upgrade your current Multiplier, whilst +1 symbols award additional spins.
Random Jackpot Feature
The Random Jackpot Feature can be triggered whenever a Prize symbol is collected on non-winning spins in the base game. Once triggered, all 15 positions on the reels spin individually, with jackpot symbols and prize values landing on each position. All prize symbols that land are held and all jackpot symbols that land are collected to their corresponding jackpot meter.
In order to be awarded a jackpot, you need to collect 3, 4, 5, or 6 matching Jackpot symbols to be awarded the Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega Jackpot respectively.

Free Spins
The Free Spins round is triggered when 3 Scatters land on reels 2-4 in the base game. Once active, an Instant Prize of 2x your bet is awarded and you’ll get to choose one of the following options:

Our Verdict
As much as we hate to put all our eggs in one basket, that’s exactly what we did while putting together our review of this game (it turned out to be a mouthful). That’s okay though because it simply means that Knights of the Golden Egg has plenty to offer, which should be welcome news for all Online Casino players.
