Lucky Lemons 2: Juiced Up Slot Review
Lucky Lemons 2: Juiced Up squeezes more potential from its fruity predecessor in the anticipated sequel, courtesy of Snowborn Games. Fresh from exploring new territory in Fishing Max, Snowborn Games returns to more familiar surroundings with a follow-up to its hit release, Lucky Lemons.
Snowborn Games first came to our attention with the release of Cat Clans, which set the bar high for new games going forward. Since then, this provider has steadily expanded its portfolio, launching a wide range of titles across Games Global’s studio platform, including Pile ‘Em Up and Masters of Valhalla.
Lucky Lemons 2: Juiced Up returns with the Lemon Booster in tow, with the inclusion of Lucky Spins and Jackpot Prizes. As features stack up, a top prize of 7,500x your bet is up for grabs, but will the juices flow? Let’s play on and find out…

Base Game & Features
Lucky Lemons 2: Juiced Up is a medium volatility slot with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed pay lines. Paytable symbols confirm winning payouts when 3, 4, or 5 land on adjoining reels, so long as they run along connecting pay lines.
The Cherries have the highest pay value, followed by Watermelon, Plums, Grapes, and A, K, Q, & J card suits. After each spin, all winning combinations award a fixed payout between 0.2x and 15x your bet.
Wild symbols appear on all reels during the base game and Lucky Spins, substituting for all symbols except Scatters, Lemon, Collect, Juiced Up, Prize, and 1UP symbols.

Collect Wins & Lemon Booster
Above the main reel set is a special Lemon Booster that begins at x1. Each time a 1UP symbol appears in view, the Lemon Booster increments from 1x up to 10x your bet. During Lucky & Juiced Up Spins, the Lemon Booster progresses by collecting 1UP symbols before resetting at the end of the feature.

Juiced Up Spins
When Juiced Up symbols have been collected across all 5 reels, the Juice Up Spins session begins. Once active, the session begins with 2 Spins, and additional spins are awarded if a +1 Symbol lands in view.
During this feature, a special Multiplier Trail is displayed above the reels, where progression is made by landing 1UP symbols. The more 1UP symbols collected, the higher the Multiplier will climb, up to a maximum of x50.
Each win is awarded during its spin, and all Lemon & Juiced Up symbols that land are multiplied by the current value on the Lemon Booster. The feature ends when no spins are remaining.
Bonus Game
The Bonus Game may randomly trigger each time a Lemon symbol appears in view. Once active, the session begins with 3 Respins and an empty grid. Lemon, Juiced Up, and Prize symbols will appear anywhere on the grid, and when they do, the Respins Meter resets to 3.
The Bonus Game ends when the Respins Meter reaches 0 or the entire grid is filled with Special symbols. In addition, 4 Jackpot Prizes can be won at this time: Mini (30x), Minor (100x), Major (500x), and Mega (5,000x).
Jackpot Prizes are won when the corresponding Jackpot Meter is filled with 3 Prize symbols.

Lucky Lemons 2 Juiced Up: Free Spins
Landing 3 Crown Scatters on reels 1, 3, & 5 in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, awarding 10 Free Spins. When the Multiplier Trail reaches a new value, an additional +3 Free Spins are awarded.
In this mode, the Lemon Booster plays a vital role, with progression happening through the collection of 1UP symbols. At the start of the session, the Multiplier begins at x1 and can increase up to x50.
If the Collect symbol lands on reel 5, the total number of Juiced Up/Lemon symbols is multiplied by the value of the Lemon Booster before being added to the current value. The total payout is the sum of all wins resulting from the session.

Bonus Buy
Players within eligible markets may purchase the Jucied Up Bonus for an additional 100x their current bet. Once active, the next spin will roll in ‘X’ symbols across all 5 reels.

Our Honest Verdict
Lucky Lemons 2: Juiced Up sufficiently improves on the original, we think, but it’s not an absolute reinvention of the limited series thus far. Returning to the sequel is the Lemon Booster, which you could say is the backbone of both games.
The original Lucky Lemons tried to be a bit of a Big Bass title. A simple multiplier trail that did not reset, extra spins between milestones, and collect mechanics were deemed sufficient enough to tape up and ship out, but Lucky Lemons 2: Juiced Up goes further to make itself juicer, pun intended.
This one includes the Juiced Up feature, which can exponentially improve wins, plus the return of the Lemon Booster, which now applies to all symbols which land within the bonus, with no need for a collect symbol and no unnecessary base game symbols in there to deliver underwhelming wins.
This, plus the Lucky Spins, the Mini, Minor, Major and Mega prizes (which can award 5,000x), make it compelling, but still not overly noteworthy compared to Snowborn Studios’ other dynamite titles. All in all, a solid improvement on the original, but not a headline act.
