PGSoft is taking us on a tour of their art museum in their latest release, Museum Mystery!
Players with a penchant for fine art will find themselves right at home in PGSoft’s newest release, which features an unusual museum theme, not to be mistaken for Push Gaming’s Mystery Museum. Although both titles are incredibly similar, we assure you that PGSoft’s version is unique to itself.
Before we take the tour, it’s worth mentioning that PGSoft is an abbreviation for ‘Pocket Games Soft’, reflecting the mobile-first approach they utilise when creating their Online Slots.

Base Game & Features
Museum Mystery is a 5-reel Video Slot with a row height configuration of 4-6-6-6-4. Depending on the configuration, this game can feature between 432 and 3,456 ways to win in a single spin.
Furthermore, Museum Mystery facilitates a Cascading Reels function, meaning that wins are removed and replaced with new symbols for a chance to create additional winning combinations.
This game has 12 High and Low-paying symbols, with the highest-paying producing wins between 5x and 50x your bet. Low-paying symbols are standard Card Suits (A-9), with fixed payouts between 2x and 10x your bet.
Wins are calculated when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatters, appearing on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. Museum Mystery is a highly volatile slot with an overall RTP of 96.71% and a max win cap of 5,000x your bet.
Mystery Symbol
Special Mystery symbols can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4, occupying 2 reel positions. When in view, they will reveal a random high or low-paying symbol with a x2 Multiplier.
These symbols remain on the reels until the end of the spin, meaning they persist through the Cascade feature. Each mystery symbol will change to reveal a new symbol after each cascading win.
Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols anywhere in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding a payout of 3x your bet and 10 Free Spins. Each additional Scatter awards a further 2x your bet.
At the start of each spin, a Mystery symbol is placed on reels 2, 3, or 4. When the 10th spin is reached and mystery symbols have occupied positions on the 3 middle reels, no further Mystery symbols are added.
The Free Spins round cannot be retriggered due to Scatters being removed for this round. On the plus side, all collected Multipliers remain active until the end of the Free Spins round.
Our Verdict
PGSoft may not have as much brand recognition as other software providers, but they’re building a loyal following that certainly makes them one to watch out for as they rise in the iGaming industry. What’s especially great about PGSoft is that their games are instantly recognisable thanks to their unique layout.
This rings true in Museum Mystery which facilitates PGSoft’s signature mobile-first format.
