Base Game & Features
As seen in previous instalments, Pirots X utilises a pirate theme, which hosts a variety of distinct bird characters. Pirots X utilises a 5-reel, 5-row format, which can expand to 7 reels and rows during gameplay.
In addition, this game features a Cluster Pays mechanic that triggers winning combinations when 5+ matching symbols land horizontally or vertically on the grid. Big symbols equal the number of positions they consume on the reels.
The Red Owl is the highest-paying symbol on the grid, followed by purple, green, and blue Owls, in addition to several Gems, awarding payouts between 0.1x and 50x your bet.
Each winning cluster acquired will be multiplied by a Global Multiplier, as well as any connecting Multiplier Wilds. Furthermore, all winning clusters will be removed and replaced with new symbols that drop from above, via an Avalanche Feature.
The Pirots
Above the main grid, you’ll find the 4 Pirots perched. These characters only interact with the reels when a Nest symbol lands in view.

Features
Pirot characters that sit at the top of the grid may also randomly trigger one of the following features:
- Bombs: Release onto the grid and cause a number of symbols to explode (excluding feature symbols). This triggers the Cascading Reels feature and an increase in grid size, up to a maximum of 7×7.
- Chests: Triggers a feature release that replaces a number of 1×1 symbols with random Feature symbols (wilds, bombs, nests, bonus, super bonus symbols).
- Big Symbols: Triggers a big symbol drop that crushes all 1×1 symbols in the vicinity.
- Charlie: The small parakeet symbol may randomly trigger a Bomb
Wild Symbols
Pirots X offers 3 types of Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except nests, bombs, bonus, super bonus, and free drop symbols. Each Wild symbol has its function as follows:
- Wild Split: If this wild connects to multiple winning clusters, it will cause them to split, awarding 1 Wild for each cluster.
- Wild Merge: If you have multiple Wild symbols in a winning cluster, they will merge into a single Multiplier Wild.
- Multiplier Wild: Winning clusters are multiplied by all connecting Multiplier Wilds, as well as the Global Multiplier.
Please note that all Wild symbols can appear in sizes 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4.
