Pirots X is the latest instalment of the ‘Pirots’ series. Given the success of all previously released titles, it’s safe to say there’s a good chance that Pirots X will be well-received by players from all over. Pirots X – Base Game
Base Game & Features
Like its predecessors, Pirots X utilises a pirate theme, hosting a variety of bird characters. This high volatility slot is set upon a 5×5 Grid, where the reels can expand to a size of 7×7. The maximum win potential is set at 10,000x, offering a theoretical RTP of 94%.
Pirots X is a Cluster Pays title that triggers winning combinations when 5 or more matching symbols land adjacent, either Horizontally or Vertically. Big symbols equal the number of positions they consume on the reels.
Each winning cluster acquired will be multiplied by a Global Multiplier, as well as any connecting Multiplier Wilds. Furthermore, all winning clusters will be removed and replaced with new symbols that drop from above. This function is known as Cascading Reels.
The game’s highest-paying (Red Owl) symbol award wins between 1x and 50x your bet, while all remaining symbols produce wins between 0.1x and 25x your bet.
The Pirots
Above the main grid, you’ll find the 4 Pirots perched. These characters only interact with the reels when a Nest symbol lands in view.
Once this happens, 1 Pirot will fly down to fill the nest position, collecting symbols of the same colour as itself and increasing the Global Multiplier. Low-paying symbols increase the Multiplier by +x1, whilst High-paying symbols increase it by +x2.
There is also the possibility of Pirot characters being crushed by a Big symbol or burned to ashes by an Exploding Bomb. If this occurs, the Pirot will drop in on the next spin at the top of the grid.
Features
Pirot characters that sit at the top of the grid may also randomly trigger one of the following features:
- Bombs: Release onto the grid and cause a number of symbols to explode (excluding feature symbols). This triggers the Cascading Reels feature and an increase in grid size, up to a maximum of 7×7.
- Chests: Triggers a feature release that replaces a number of 1×1 symbols with random Feature symbols (wilds, bombs, nests, bonus, super bonus symbols).
- Big Symbols: Triggers a big symbol drop that crushes all 1×1 symbols in the vicinity.
- Charlie: The small parakeet symbol may randomly trigger a Bomb
Pirots X – Chest Feature
Wild Symbols
Pirots X offers 3 types of Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except nests, bombs, bonus, super bonus, and free drop symbols. Each Wild symbol has its own function as follows:
- Wild Split: If this wild connects to multiple winning clusters, it will cause them to split, awarding 1 Wild for each cluster.
- Wild Merge: If you have multiple Wild symbols in a winning cluster, they will merge into a single Multiplier Wild.
- Multiplier Wild: Winning clusters are multiplied by all connecting Multiplier Wilds, as well as the Global Multiplier.
Please note, that all Wild symbols can appear in sizes 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4.
