Robbits Slot Review
Meet the Robbits, Quickspin’s newest crew and chaotic foursome with a serious plan. Led by the smooth Captain Eightball Locke, the target is the Fur Seasons Casino & Hotel, and they’re going all out. Armed with their supercharged carrot fuel and handy power-ups, the Robbits turn every spin into part of the action.
Some time has passed since we last took a deep dive into a Quickspin release, with Epic Fish: Winter Catch being the most recent stop on our radar. To resume our relationship with Quickspin titles, we’re being pulled into the action, cast as the newest recruit in the Robbits clan. This time, it’s all about the ultimate heist, with our sights firmly set on the busiest, brightest hotel casino imaginable.
In Robbits, each spin is packed with Upgraders, a unique Helipad feature, and Carrot symbols that guarantee Power-Ups for each Rabbit character. The Avalanche Feature pairs nicely with the Cluster-Collect mechanic, ensuring wins can chain together in quick succession.
It’s also hard to ignore that Robbits feels like Quickspin’s answer to the huge success of ELK Studios’ Pirots, a character-led slot that struck a chord with players thanks to its evolving mechanics. While Pirots has since grown into a full series with later entries introducing changing maps and more dramatic structural shifts, Robbits starts on a more modest footing. Still, the foundations are clearly there, and if Quickspin chooses to build on this concept over time, the Robbits crew has plenty of room to carve out an identity of their own.

Base Game & Features
Robbits is a highly volatile (4/5) video slot with 5 reels, 5 rows, and a Cluster Pays mechanic. As previously witnessed in ELK Studios’ Pirots series, wins are awarded when a Rabbit Character appears next to a matching paytable symbol of the same colour.
The Pink Gem is the highest-paying symbol, followed by the Purple, Green, & Blue Gems. Each paytable symbol can be upgraded multiple times, awarding fixed payouts between 0.1x and 2.5x your bet.
Additionally, there are 4 Wild symbols available, each substituting for all symbols when part of a win. Wild symbols can only be collected by their corresponding Rabbit Character. Once a Rabbit eats its matching symbols, it moves to a new position, allowing empty cells to be filled with new symbols through the Avalanche Feature. This continues until no new wins occur in the same spin.

Upgrader & Super Upgrader
Each spin begins with all available symbols at the lowest upgrade level. When a Rabbit Character collects an Upgrader symbol, all matching symbols of its colour will upgrade to the next level, up to a maximum of Level 5.
Alternatively, when a Rabbit Character crosses paths with a Super Upgrader symbol, all visible paytable symbols, regardless of colour, will be upgraded to their next level before resetting with the next base game spin.

Helipad
Once a Rabbit Character collects a Helipad symbol, it triggers a gateway to the Helipad Feature at the end of all avalanche events. Once active, the reel set expands by +1 row & column, triggering a new avalanche event with the Rabbits starting in new positions.

Carrot
If a Rabbit Character collects a Carrot symbol, it guarantees the respective Power-Up at the end of all avalanche events, revealing a random Multiplier of x1, x2, x3, x5, or x50. Rabbit Characters can collect more than 1 Carrot symbol in the same spin, before the selected Power-Up is executed.
For every additional Carrot symbol collected, their Multipliers are added together and stored within each Rabbit Character’s personal Multiplier Pot, which remains active until the end of the Power-Up spin.
Power-Ups
Once 1 or more Power-Ups are collected, they are played out at the end of all avalanche events. Each Power-Up remains active until its corresponding Rabbit Character has finished its symbol collection. Each rabbit is assigned its own Power-Up, which awards the following:
- Red Rabbit: All Red symbols are upgraded by two levels, while all Rabbit Characters switch position. The associated Multiplier is applied to all Rabbit collections, and not just the Red Rabbit.
- Purple Rabbit: All paytable symbols surrounding the Purple Rabbit are transformed into Purple symbols, excluding Upgraders, Super Upgraders, Wilds, etc. After the transformation, the Rabbit Character will perform the Cluster-Collect mechanic with its respective Multiplier.
- Green Rabbit: All matching symbols will be collected by the corresponding Rabbit without it moving from its position. Each payable symbol added to the win will be multiplied by the Green Rabbit’s respective Multiplier Pot.
- Blue Rabbit: Jumps to each Rabbit Character with matching symbols within the Cluster-Collect mechanic. Once the Blue Rabbit has collected its symbols, the original Rabbit Characters are restored to the reels.

Robbits: Free Spins
When 3+ Bonus Scatters are collected by Rabbit Characters in the base game, the Free Spins mode is triggered, awarding 6 Free Spins. For every Bonus Scatter after the 3rd, an additional +1 Free Spin is awarded.
The Free Spins mode closely mirrors the base game, only with several key differences. During this mode, the reel area is expanded to an 8×8 matrix, while Carrot Multipliers do not reset between spins. These features continue to build throughout the Free Spins mode until the session ends.

Extra Bet & Bonus Buy
Players may purchase any of the following Extra Bet & Bonus Buy options:
- Extra Bet: Delivers an increased chance of landing Carrot symbols on the reels, thus triggering Power-Ups, for 2x your bet per spin
- Free Spins: Guaranteed entry to the Free Spins mode with 3-5 Bonus Scatters for 70x your bet (RTP 96.51%)
Robbits has a maximum win potential of 4,257x your bet. If a single session exceeds this, the player returns to the base game with the qualifying amount.

Our Honest Verdict
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Robbits is quite evidently a slot shaped by the success of ideas that ELK Studios introduced first. That’s hardly unusual in this space either. Many studios find inspiration in their own back catalogue or in ideas that have already resonated elsewhere, using those foundations to iterate, refine, and build toward something more ambitious over time.
Robbits wears its influences plainly, and there’s no real attempt to disguise where the underlying ideas come from. That said, imitation alone doesn’t define the experience here. Quickspin has taken a proven framework and applied its own flavour where possible, leaning into character-led Power-Ups, layered multipliers, and a playful heist theme that gives the game a clear sense of identity.
Mechanically, the slot keeps things engaging without ever tipping into overwhelming territory. Carrot symbols act as a steady source of momentum, feeding Power-Ups that can enhance symbol collection, reposition characters, and gradually boost multipliers. These elements work together to keep rounds ticking over, and while base game action is unlikely to produce fireworks on its own, it does a solid job of setting the stage for what follows.
It’s during the Free Spins feature that Robbits shows its best side. Persistent upgrades, expanding reels that can reach an 8×8 grid, and multipliers that continue to build give the gameplay a satisfying sense of progression. When the features align, the slot can produce lively sequences that feel rewarding, even if they stop short of true chaos.
Visually and thematically, Robbits is difficult to fault. The animated characters make it an easy game to spend time with. The main sticking point remains the maximum win cap of 4,257x, which, while respectable in isolation, feels conservative when compared to other slots, including its direct comparison, Pirots.
All in all, it’s a polished, approachable take on the new genre. If you’re chasing explosively huge max wins, then you may find it lacking, but if you’re happy with a smoother, lighter and more tempered game, then Robbits is a fine choice.
