Scrooge might have been a bit stingy, and the Queen of Wonderland may have severed a head or two, but The Sheriff of Nottingham and his unrealistic and unaffordable taxes makes him the most disgusting of all. Perhaps it’s time for Robin Hood to sort him out once more?

Sheriff of Nottingham 2 is a 5 reel slot with 20 fixed paylines. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbol types from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. Once active, you will be given 3 Scrolls to choose from which will award one of the following Modifiers.

• Wanted Spin – The Sheriff will land in view and award the value of any present Money symbols on the reels.
• Mystery Symbols – A random amount of Mystery symbols will be added to the reels and transform into any High or Low-paying symbol.
• Stacked Wilds – Awards a random amount of Stacked Wilds to the reels with a x1 Multiplier. Any Stacked Wilds that land partially in view will nudge down, increasing their Multiplier by +1 with each nudge.
• Bonus – Awards the Sheriff Respins Bonus round.
• Sheriff Wilds – Between 4 and 10 Wilds will be added to the reels randomly.

Landing 3 Bonus symbols in any position on the reels triggers the Sheriff Respins round, awarding 3 Respins.

At the start of Sheriff Respins, all Bonus symbols will transform into Money symbols and will remain fixed in their positions. In addition to this, every new Money or Merry Men symbol that lands in view will also be locked onto the reel set, resetting the Respins Counter to 3 each time.

• Will Scarlet – Awards 1x your current bet and unlocks the Right Reel.

iSoftBet has cleverly refined Sheriff of Nottingham 2 in many aspects. Graphics are a cut above what they were in the original game, and a few new features has been added to breathe fresh life into the newest instalment.

A good balance has been struck between the Base Game and Free Spins because of the Pick a Scroll feature, which brings many modifiers to shake up what may have otherwise been a dull and tedious Base Game, and Sheriff Respins and the character modifiers that comes with it makes for what could be a nail-biting experience, although expectations should be tempered on what the Sheriff of Nottingham 2 is capable of compared to similarly styled slots.

Sheriff of Nottingham 2 is no Money Train, but win potential is far from low. 7,515x is the highest possible win, and a figure that we think is more than enough to make you feel like you’ve taken from the rich in true Robin Hood style!
