In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more (or 2 or more of the highest paying symbol) from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. Once a low-paying symbol is chosen, the Wild Portal will automatically inhale all instances of that particular symbol from the reels, increasing the Multiplier by +1 for each symbol inhaled.

New symbols will then drop into all empty positions on the reels via a Cascade, whilst the Wild Portal may choose another Low-paying symbol to inhale. The process will continue until no new instances of the chosen low-paying symbol remain.

It certainly isn’t your conventional Megaways slot. There’s no cascading reels, and the Wild Portals certainly isn’t something we’ve seen before. The absence of cascading reels might deter some, but the Wild Portal feature is more than enough to make up for it in our eyes.

The real interesting part about Wild Portals Megaways is not the features, but the win potential. Wild Portals is statistically capable of wins of up to 116,030x, which is astonishing even by Megaways standards. This alone could be alluring enough to reel in some players, but it will be interesting to see how realistic it actually is when it releases.
