Zicke Zacke Slot Review 2022

Pack a bag and don’t forget your passport, we’re heading to Germany to indulge in their annual beer festival, in Zicke Zacke by Stakelogic!

Oktoberfest is an annual beer festival and funfair starting from late September, which lasts around 16-18 days and is held in Munich, Bavaria. It is said that more than 6 million national and international visitors attend every single year to take part in the festivities, where in 2014 over 7.7 million litres of beer was consumed during the event.

After a little bit of research, we found out that ‘Zicke Zacke’ is actually the end of a song called Ein Prosit which is a traditional German toast to good health and well-being, or you could say it means “you’re a great friend, now buy me a beer” which of course isn’t exactly true but it was worth a shot at a free beer.

Turning our attention to Zicke Zacke, the background puts us outdoors in a street with party bunting, confetti and tables loaded with barrels of beer and snacks, but the only thing that seems to be missing here is the guests.

Like iSoftBet’s Greta Goes Wild, the Wild symbol here is represented by a lovely waitress, although not quite as voluptuous as Greta if you catch our drift nor is she good at making beers by the looks of it.

Will Zicke Zacke serve up a side of fun along with beer? Let’s play on and find out!

Super Stake

Before you can begin spinning, you will have the option to activate the Super Stake feature.

Choosing to activate the Super Stake feature Doubles your current bet but with that comes certain advantages. Once active, your chances of triggering Free Spins and the Beer Tower feature doubles.

Beer Tower Feature

Landing a full stack of Wild symbols on reels 2, 3 or 4 during the base game triggers the Beer Tower feature, awarding 3 Respins.

Once active, the stacked Wilds will transform into a beer tower and the Respins will begin. During each respin, the beer tower will decrease in volume and eventually become empty, ending the Beer Tower feature.

There is a chance of retriggering this feature after the third and final respin. If this happens, the Beer Tower will refill all the Wild symbols and +4 Respins are awarded.

Zicke Zacke Free Spins

Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols across the reels triggers the Free Spins round, activating the Pick and Click feature. Landing a 4th or 5th Scatter after the inital 3 required, awards an additional +4 and +10 Free Spins respectively.

Here you will be given 3 Coasters to choose from which will determine the special Wild feature and the total number of Free Spins you will start the round with. The wild features available are as follows.

  • 8 Free Spins + Sticky Wilds. During Free Spins, all Wilds that land in view will remain fixed in their positions for the entire round.
  • 10 Free Spins + Dropping Wilds. During Free Spins, all present Wilds will drop down one position for every spin after they land until they eventually leave the reels.
  • 12 Free Spins + Expanding Wilds. During Free Spins, all present Wilds will expand to fill the entire reel they are on.

Once the Free Spins round begins, the Collector symbol will present itself on reels 1 and 5 from time to time. Each Collector symbol that lands is then collected and stored in the Collection Bar above the reels.

Once 4 Collector symbols have been stored, the current Multiplier will increase and an additional +5 Free Spins are awarded. If the win Multiplier reaches x20, the Collection Bar will no longer fill up.

Zicke Zacke: Our Verdict

Oktoberfest is an ample excuse to sink a few beers, but should you sink a few ££’s into Zicke Zacke? and what potential awards await if you do?

First of all, Zicke Zacke is the latest to include Stakelogic’s renowned Super Stake Feature, and once again it’s been used in a way to double your chances of landing Free Spins. We’ve seen it do various things in various different games, but doubling the chance of Free Spins is a decent use for it, most of the time.

Our only problem with this kind of feature is the lack of confidence about the games ability to bonus without it. Of course, it can, but those who begrude paying the little extra might turn away from Zicke Zacke in favour of a game that doesn’t have an ante bed feature.

If you’re fine with playing without it or you’re fine with paying the extra, then you might be glad you stuck around for the festivities.

Zicke Zack is diverse with its features and exciting with sticky, dropping and expanding wilds, and the Beer Tower Feature within the Base Game is a nice touch too. In our opinion, something within the Base Game to up the potential a bit is a must-have most of the time.

So far, it all looks pretty good for Zicke Zack, though we must say, it’s not quite Greta Goes Wild. The maximum win in Greta’s Public house is 8,000x, but here it’s almost half at 5,000x. It’s still formidable to be fair, and when the booze starts flowing then you’ll be having a good time regardless

Overall, it’s safe to say that Zicke Zacke isn’t a Stakelogic headliner, but it’s a decent offering nonetheless.
