Dragon’s Breath Theme
We know from the title that Dragon’s Breath is based around a legendary mythical creature, so we can expect to see more of that as we look at the overall theme.
Looking at the backdrop the first thing that captures your attention is the Dragon proudly sat up front, going by the title Dragon’s Breath it was evident to us that a Dragon would be seen somewhere within the theme.
As we look further into the backdrop you will see stunning mountains and lucious scenery, again further complementing the overall theme of Dragon’s Breath. Rabcat has definitely earned themselves some points here.
The music playing in the background of Dragon’s Breath is quiet yet fitting in terms of the overall theme, whereas sound effects are louder and much more gripping.
The overall theme of Dragon’s Breath is a step in the right direction, however when we think of Dragons we expect to see fire and chaos and there isnt a whole lot of that going on in the overall theme.
Dragon’s Breath Betting and Symbols
Dragon’s Breath has a variety of Betting options for you to choose from. If you prefer to play with lower stakes the minimum bet available is £0.20 per spin, however if higher stakes are what floats your boat the maximum stake available is £200 per spin. Dragon’s Breath has a selection of Betting options in between these two.
When it comes to symbols, the highest paying symbol falls to the Dragon. Following on from this is the Dragon Claws and the Crown. Lower paying symbols fall to the Purple, Green and Blue Gems.
Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Free Spins Scatters.
Dragon’s Breath Base Game and Features
Dragon’s Breath is a 5×5 video slot with a cluster pays mechanic. In order to form a win you will need 6 or more of the same symbols to connect horizontally or vertically.
During the base game you have a chance at triggering the Double and Triple Flames Features.

During gameplay, if two reels become stacked with 5 of the same symbol, then the Double Flames Feature will trigger. You will be awarded 1 bonus spin with cloned reels using reels 2 and 3 in such a way that the winning amount is maximized. Bonus spins cannot be retriggered.
Triple Flames Feature
During gameplay, if three reels become stacked with 5 of the same symbol, then the Triple Flames Feature will trigger. You will be awarded 1 bonus spin with cloned reels using 2, 3 and 4 in such a way that the winning amount is maximized. Bonus spins cannot be retriggered.
Once these Features end, normal gameplay will resume.
Dragon’s Breath Free Spins
Dragon’s Breath offers players a chance at winning Free Spins, landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters will trigger 8, 12 or 16 Free Spins respectively.
During Free Spins, 5-11 burning Wilds are randomly distributed on the reels and act as Fixed Wilds.
Every 2 Free Spins the number and position of the Fixed Wilds will change. Free Spins can be retriggered by landing 3 Scatters during Free Spins.
Once Free Spins are complete, normal gameplay will resume.
Dragon’s Breath Our Verdict
Dragon’s Breath is a decent Cluster Pays offering from Rabcat, except it is rather deceptive in some aspects.
Dragon’s Breath will give you large cluster wins, and in a brief moment you’ll think you’ve won a substantial amount, before you find out that you’lve actually bagged yourself a relatively small win.
The main thing to consider when you’re playing Dragon’s Breath is the volatility. This may look like a volatile slot, but it’s actually more of a ‘medium’ volatility slot, which is reflected in the maximum win capability of 1,250x.
Overall, Dragon’s Breath doesn’t do much to change the cluster pays game, but it’s not bad if you’re looking for something a little bit more forgiving.
