Vegas Cash Slot Review 2024
Microgaming partner, SpinPlay Games is taking us to Vegas for a fun-filled evening of winning big, in Vegas Cash!
SpinPlay Games already has quite the portfolio, with Bank Vault, Wolf Call and Amazing Link Riches being just a handful of slots that have caught our attention. Not only do SpinPlay Games have a pretty impressive slots selection already, but they are expanding it even more, with Amazing Link Fates due to be released at the end of March and now this one at the beginning of April.
In terms of theme, Vegas Cash is nothing special in all honesty. The background has very minimal detail which involves a long line of Palm trees and an orange coloured sky, which is rather disappointing considering the theme is based around the magic of Vegas. The theme leaves little to the imagination, so let’s hope that where Vegas Cash lacks in looks, it makes up for in gameplay.
Vegas Cash has plenty going for it in gameplay, with 4 exciting Jackpot Prizes up for grabs along with Copycash Wilds and High Roller features, but will these offerings be enough to take our minds off the very dated graphics and design? Lets’ play on and find out!
Vegas Cash Betting and Symbols
Vegas Cash has a variety of betitng options for players to choose from. For those who prefer a lower stake, the minimum bet available is £/€0.20 per spin. For those who prefer a higher stake, the maximum bet available is £/€50 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two.
The highest paying regular symbol in Vegas Cash is the Lady, followed by the Car and the Cash. Medium paying symbols fall to the Roulette Wheel, Dice and Playing Cards. Lower paying symbols are standard Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds.
Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Scatters. Wilds can appear Stacked on all the reels.
Vegas Cash Base Game and Features
Vegas Cash is a 5+5 reel slot with 40 fixed paylines. In order to form a win, you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbols from left to right, starting on both left-most reels on the reel sets.
The base game in Vegas Cash could be considered very basic, thankfully SpinPlay Games has thrown in Copycash Wilds and an exciting High Roller Feature that bring players some much needed entertainment.
Copycash Wilds
During any spin in the base game, landing a full stack of Wild symbols on any of the 5 reels on either reel set, triggers the Copycash Wilds feature.
Once this happens, the stacked Wild symbols will be copied to the corresponding reel on the other reel set.
If a Wild symbol happens to cover a Scatter, it will act as both a Wild and Scatter symbol.
High Roller Feature
If fully stacked Wilds land in the same position on both reel sets, the High Roller feature is triggered. The High Roller feature can also be awarded randomly on any base game spin.
Once active, each High Roller can award either a Multiplier of x2, x3, x5, x7 or x10, or 1 of 3 Jackpot Prizes.
The Jackpot Prizes up for grabs are as follows.
- Cherry Jackpot – Awards 10x your current bet.
- Gold Bar Jackpot – Awards 50x your current bet.
- Diamond Jackpot – Awards 500x your current bet.
- Vegas Cash Jackpot – Awards 5,000x your current bet.
Up to 6 High Rollers can be triggered in any one spin!
Vegas Cash Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 Scatters in any position on the reels, triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10, 15, 25 or 50 Free Spins respectively.
During the Free Spins round, partially in view stacked Wilds will nudge down, filling the entire reel and automatically triggering the Copycash Wilds feature.
If stacked Wilds are present on the same reel on both reel sets, the High Roller feature will automatically activate.
Landing a certain amount of Scatters on the reels, awards additional Free Spins.
Vegas Cash: Our Verdict
Vegas Cash offers something a little bit different with its duel reel setup, but is it enough to reel players in? We’re not so sure.
Vegas Cash shows definite moments of promise and the statistics certainly suggest that Vegas Cash can award Vegas level pay outs with 8,525x payouts, but we’re not entirely confident that this is a realistic figure, but rather a theoretical one.
We’re in no doubt that Vegas Cash is a capable slot, but it just seems a little bit dull when compared to the daring innovations and styles that we’ve seen from other providers lately.
Overall, Vegas Cash is by no means an innovative leap, but it wasn’t really supposed to be. It’s simple enough to understand but it also has a little something extra, and it’s fun enough to play for a few spins before you inevitably seek excitement elsewhere.
