Honey Rush 100 Base Game

Honey Rush 100 Base Game and Features

Honey Rush 100 is a 4-5-6-7-6-5-4 reel Video Slot with a Cluster Pays mechanic. Winning combinations are formed when 5 or more of the same symbols land adjacent to each other, either Horizontally or Vertically.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€50 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. Honey Rush 100 has a theoretical RTP of 96.20% and a max win cap of 50,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Diamond, followed by the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Coins. Low-paying symbols fall to Blue, White, Pink, and Yellow Flowers. Wilds substitute for all High and Low-paying symbols from the paytable.

Each time a winning combination forms, all winning symbols will be removed from the grid, and new symbols will drop down from above via a Cascade, with the possibility of forming even more winning combinations.

Rush Meter

To the right of the grid sits a special Rush Meter that collects winning combinations that form. There are 3 Levels of the Rush Meter to complete, known as Drone Colony, Worker Colony, and finally Queen Colony. Each of the Colony levels requires a certain number of winning symbols to activate them.

  • Level 1 (Drone Colony) – 30 Winning symbols.
  • Level 2 (Worker Colony) – 60 Winning symbols.
  • Level 3 (Queen Colony) – 90 Winning symbols.

When a charge level is complete, the respective feature(s) are added to the queue. Once no more wins occur, the first Colony feature will activate. If you’re unable to fill the Rush Meter and trigger the next available Colony features, the Rush Meter will reset back to 0.

Once a Colony feature is active, the symbol in the centre of the grid is selected as the cloned symbol, creating a new winning combination or cluster of this particular symbol. If a Wild symbol is the centre symbol, this can also be cloned.

  • Drone Colony – Creates a minimum cluster of 7 symbols.
  • Worker Colony – Creates a minimum cluster of 10-15 symbols.
  • Queen Colony – Creates a minimum cluster of 20-37 symbols.

Overcharge

If the Rush Meter exceeds 90 winning symbols, it will go into an Overcharge state. For every 15 winning symbols collected in the overcharge will cause the centre symbol to be Upgraded. This symbol will continue to upgrade until it is no longer possible.

Once the maximum number of upgrades is reached, the Global Win Multiplier will increase by +x3. At the end of the Drone Colony, every Wild symbol that reaches the bottom of the grid will add a +x2 Multiplier to the Global Win Multiplier.

At the end of the Worker Colony, every Wild symbol that reaches the bottom of the grid will add a +x3 Multiplier, and the same goes for the Queen Colony, up to a maximum of x100.

Sticky Wild Feature

During gameplay, if a Sticky Wild symbol is part of a winning combination, it will move downwards to an empty position. If the Wild symbol is touching the bottom edge of the grid, it will drop into the honey pot, increasing the Global Win Multiplier by +x1.

At the end of the Drone, Worker, and Queen Colony, each Sticky Wild symbol that drops into the honey pot will increase the Multiplier by +x2, +x3, and +x3 respectively.

Honey Rush 100: Our Verdict

We’ve been waiting for Honey Rush 100 for what seems like a lifetime, and now that we’ve had a taste of its sweet nectar, was it the bees-knees?

Play’n GO has kept the majority of gameplay the same as the original Honey Rush slot but with a few positive tweaks here and there. The most obvious change is the x100 Multiplier that can be reached during both the Overcharge and Sticky Wild features.

Although an entirely new slot, Honey Rush 100 still has the Rush Meter and Drone, Worker, and Queen Colony features that many players fell head over hills for in the original. It’s still difficult to reach the Colony features, but there’s more at stake now so it feels much more worthy of a good grind to get them going.

All previous 100 titles have been given a boost in the max win department, and it seems that the same has been done in Honey Rush 100, and it’s quite a big leap too. On a sunny day, Honey Rush 100 can produce max wins of up to 50,000x which is a massive increase when compared to the 9,000x the original Honey Rush can pull off.

Honey Rush 100 certainly lives up to our expectations in more ways than one, and we can’t wait to see where Play’n GO takes the series next!
