3 Cherry Frenzy is a 5×3 slot with the potential to turn into a 6×5 using the ‘split’ feature. There are no Pay Lines, instead, simply landing matching symbols on adjacent reels payout. The game advertises a total of 7,776 ways to win.
The symbols, from lowest to highest payout are as follows: 10, J, Q, K, Orange, Blueberry, Watermelon, Raspberry, and Grapes. Players must match 3 or more of these symbols from left to right across adjacent reels for a payout. Naturally, if your reel is split, more symbols will appear on that spin.
Wild
Wild symbols have the possibility of landing on all reels and will substitute for all symbols except Pot, Collect, Split, Cash Value, and Bonus symbols.
Top Graderz Reel
Sitting at the top of the main reels is the ‘Top Graderz’ Reel. This reel spins horizontally, which is where the split mechanic comes into play. Marked by a number from 4 to 6 with a lightning symbol beside them, these symbols will split your main reels, turning your 3-line
reels into 4, 5 or 6-line reels.

Cash Value & Collect Symbols
Cash Value symbols pay out anywhere from 0.2x to 100x your bet value and can land on any reel. The Collect symbol appears on reel 5 and is used to cash them in and is affected by your current multiplier. Once collected, the multiplier value resets to 1x.

Pot Symbols & Lock ‘n’ Win Feature
Pot symbols have a chance of appearing on your reels. Once collected, a regular symbol is revealed underneath. Appearing as Red, Yellow or Pink Cherries, Pot symbols have a chance to trigger the Multiply, Jackpot and Supreme LocknWin features respectively. Red Pot symbols also increase the multiplier for the multiplier LocknWin up to a maximum of 10x.
When a Lock ‘n’ Win is triggered, 3 Respins are awarded and all symbols except cash symbols are removed from the reels and the cash symbols lock in place. When landing a cash or a jackpot symbol during these respins, the respin counter resets to 3. The feature ends when the respin counter reaches zero or when all reels are filled.
Here is a breakdown of each type of Lock ‘n’ Win:
- Multiplier Lock ‘n’ Win – Triggered by the Red Pot symbol, all cash values are multiplied by the multiplier value at the end of the feature.
- Jackpot Lock ‘n’ Win – Triggered by the Yellow Pot Symbol, when all spaces of a jackpot are completed, the corresponding Jackpot is awarded when the feature ends. The Jackpot values are as follows: Mega (5000x), with 6 spaces, Major (500x) with 5, Minor (100x) with 4, Mini (20x) with 3, and Micro (10x) with 2. These values are not affected by the Multiplier and do not get collected by orange or purple cash symbols.
- Supreme Lock ‘n’ Win – Triggered by the pink Pot Symbol, orange and purple cash symbols can appear in addition to the regular red cash symbols. Orange cash symbols will collect all red cash symbols, and purple cash symbols collect both red and orange ones.

Conclusion
Players who are fans of jackpot and hold & win mechanics might find enjoyment here. With some impressive jackpot and cash values, there is some potential for pretty big wins, but nothing too extreme with the win caps in place here.
Pear Fiction Studio clearly decided to play it safe with this one. It doesn’t really have much personality beyond some flashy visuals and exciting, albeit a bit cheesy musical guitar riffs, 3 Cherry Frenzy is not far off what you’d expect from a classic slot both mechanically and visually.
Sure, there is some excitement through the Top Graderz and Lock ‘n’ Win features, but it doesn’t do much to push the envelope. It’s not bad per se, it’s just pretty standard. Compare this to some of their previous releases like Blazing Mammoth or this game’s carbon copy, 3 Lucky Hippos, which makes 3 Cherry Frenzy fall shy of good in both the mechanics and the personality departments.
