According to legend, a selfless group of 5 protectors watch over the mortals, keeping a watchful eye whilst they sleep and protecting them from harm. Immortal 5 is an all-out, action-packed release from Relax Gaming, fueled by unique bonus rounds and super power-ups.
Immortal 5 is not our first encounter with superheroes and villains in the iGaming market. Nolimit City and Play’n GO released something similar with Infectious 5 and Ternion. In addition, Backseat Gaming recently introduced us to Chicken Man, which has a more light-hearted theme, and probably a more useless superpower.
Superheroes have always been popular, albeit cheesy with their overwhelming sense of justice. It’s an honourable yet predictable trait and one that was cast aside in Amazon’s The Boys. If Nolimit City’s superhero offering was released later we’ve no doubt it would have been as horrendous as The Boys, but Relax Gaming are more diplomatic, more righteous, if you will. Immortal 5 is courtesy of Relax Gaming and Casino Daddy, who teamed up to make the memorable Sloth Tumble and Epic Dreams.
Base Game & Features
Immortal 5 is a 5-reel, 5-row Video Slot with 15 active pay lines and varying bet sizes between £.€0.10 per spin and £.€100 per spin. Other statistics include an overall RTP of 96.10%, a High Volatility rating, and a max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
This game has 5 High-paying and 4 Low-paying symbols which offer payouts between 0.3x and 20x your bet. Winning combinations occur when 3 or more matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Wilds substitute for all paytable symbols and award wins of 5x, 10x, and 20x your bet for 3, 4, and 5-of-a-kind.
Immortal 5 Feature
When the Immortal 5 Feature is active, special Expanding Hero Wilds can appear on reels 1-5. Once in view, they will expand to fill the entire reel with Wild symbols, generating a random Multiplier between x2 and x100. When multiple Hero Wilds appear in a single spin, their values combine additively when evaluating wins.
Immortal 5 Respin
Landing any number of Immortal Wild symbols in a spin will trigger the Immortal 5 Respin function. The feature will continue if Immortal Wild symbols hit during a Respin.
Hero Bet

Immortal Silver Bonus
Landing Immortal Silver Scatters on reels 3, 4, and 5 in the base game triggers the Immortal Silver Bonus, where 6 Free Spins and 2 standard Power-Up Picks are awarded in Hero Mode 1 and 2.
- Hero Mode 1 – Global progressive Multiplier: In this round, the Multiplier increases each time a Multiplier symbol lands. Expanding Wilds contribute to the global multiplier.
- Hero Mode 2 – Sticky Multiplier Upgrades: In this round, each symbol position has its own Multiplier that doubles each time it helps form a win. Expanding Wilds collect all values from the reel when expanding.
The available Power-Up Picks are as follows:
- Extra Spins: Awards +3 Free Spins to your starting amount
- Multiplier Boost: Improves the multiplier in Hero Mode 1. In mode 2, one position is picked per reel to start with an increased Multiplier.

Immortal Gold Bonus
Landing Immortal Gold Scatters on reels 3, 4, and 4 in the base game triggers the Immortal Gold Bonus, awarding 6 Free Spins and 3 Power-Up Picks, one of which is a Super Pick. These can be used in either Hero Mode 1 or Hero Mode 2.
Super Power-Ups available in this round include:
- Immortal Transform: At the start of the round, 1 high-paying symbol is selected to convert into a standard Wild each time it appears on the reels.

Our Verdict
Immortal 5 certainly has the powers required to be deemed as ‘super’ and the strength to carry Relax Gaming and CasinoDaddy’s name proudly, but the big question is, is it better than Nolimit’s Infectious 5? The jury is you, not us, but we think personally, no.
Immortal 5 feels like a bit of a rip off in theme (and the number of them), but it’s by no means outright plagiarism. That said, there is a bonus buy mode for players in buy territory where you can buy an all-or-nothing feature similar to those seen in Nolimit Slots with God Mode. We’re not fans ourselves, and we would recommend caution to those that are.
Immortal 5 was fairly eventful in the Base game with features like Immortal Respins. This feature kept things fresh enough while you await the best part of the game – The Free Spins mode. We tried both extensively, and are pleased to say that both are excellent. We don’t have a clear favourite yet, but mode 2 offers a more volatile experience for those inspired and driven by the bravery of our heroes.
overall, Immortal 5 is pretty solid. Its no game of the year, but of the limited Superhero slots out there, it’s a notable one.
