Base Game & Features
Double Fruit Frenzy DoubleMax is a high volatility 5×3 Video Slot with 20 pay lines, an overall RTP of 94%, and a max win cap of 10,000x your bet. Bet sizes start from £.€0.20 per spin, up to a maximum of £.€100 per spin.
Winning combinations occur when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Payouts are calculated between 0.2x and 25x your bet, with the 7 symbol being the highest-paying.
Super Wilds
In the base game, Super Wilds that land will expand to fill the entire reel. The expanded Wild acts in the same manner as a standard wild, substituting for all symbols except Scatter and Scratch Card symbols. Please note, that standard Wilds do not expand.
Scratch Card Bonus
Landing 3 or more Scratch Card symbols in the base game triggers the Scratch Card Bonus. Additional Scratch Card symbols will start the Multiplier higher.
During this round, players can reveal Cash Values or Double Multiplier icons when scratching off the symbols in view. Each time a Double Multiplier symbol is revealed, it will double the current multiplier.
Any cash values are then multiplied by the current multiplier and added to the accumulating Prize Pool. Keep choosing scratch cards until a Collect Icon is revealed, thus ending the Scratch Card Bonus.
Golden Bet
Activating the Golden Bet feature will increase your current bet by 50%. Once active, your chances of triggering the Free Spins round are naturally higher.
Bonus Buy
Non-UK players can purchase the Free Spins round for an additional 65x their bet, where 3, 4, or 5 Scatters land in the next spin.
Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters anywhere in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 8, 12, and 16 Free Spins respectively.
During this round, special Coin symbols appear with a random Mystery Prize. The Super Frenzy symbol may also land on reels 1 or 5, equipped with a starting Multiplier of x2.

Our Verdict
There’s little to say about Double Fruit Frenzy DoubleMax, other than it’s a mouthful, and that its ‘classic’ demeanour may not appeal to those with a palate for considerably more modern slots.
Though it’s classic in appearance, it does have elements of modernity with its DoubleMax feature, and its potential is quite considerable because of it at 10,000x the bet a top prize. It also has a couple of other bells and whistles, including the Super Wilds and Scratch Bonus. We found the latter to be quite underwhelming at times, but scratch bonuses can feel like that.
Overall, Double Fruit Frenzy DoublMax certainly doesn’t scratch an itch we didn’t know we had, nor does it evoke any strong feelings of excitement, at least in our experience with it.
