Outsourced: Payday Slot Review

Here we are once more within the clutches (or in this case the claw) of the depressing corporate machine. Sit at your workstation and be happy with your meagre pay, job and existence, and remember to smile because at least things can’t get worse. After all, you could be the guy who lost his hand in Outsourced Slash Game.

Outsourced: Payday is the latest in the series that started with Outsourced, the original slot that seemed loosely based on another of Nolimit City’s titles, Nine to Five. In the next instalment of the story, the factory has fired all the workers and has replaced them with claws because claws can’t complain, and apparently productivity is up!

This particular instalment is the latest of the Nolimit Labs titles, which are experimental games that allow Nolimit City to let loose with some of their crazy ideas. As if their slots weren’t crazy enough!

Base Game & Features

Outsourced: Payday trades in regular reels in favour of a Conveyor Belt, as part of the Nolimit Labs series. This game has an overall RTP of 96% and a max win cap of 10,000x your bet.

The game is straightforward. First, you need to select a bet size between £.€0.20 and £.€100 per spin. Once your bet size is selected, you can begin the Conveyor Belt.

The payday Claw consists of 5 symbols per spin, moving from right to left. With each paid spin, the claw can retrieve a symbol at random from the conveyor belt.

If the claw picks up a paying symbol without dropping it, you are awarded its value multiplied by your current bet. Please note, that the claw will not retrieve symbols with a value of 0.

Our Verdict

There are going to be mixed reactions to Nolimit City’s lab titles. They lack the depth that some of their slots do but retain all of the charm that makes Nolimit City so infamous.

Outsourced: Pay Day is a simple game, and it evokes a mix of good and bad emotions. It can unexpectedly claw up a big win just like that, or it can drop it from its greasy little claws triggering a wave of anger. The God mode allows you to risk it all for a chance to hit a max win, but it could still drop the symbol. The danger of the claw dropping the price can be negated via its Safe Claw Mode, but this is not applicable in the max win or not gamble. Other xBet options include 3 claws for 4x the bet or all 5 for 10x the bet, but we’re unsure if these modes will make it into the UK version of the game.

If you were comparing this to Outsourced or Slash Game, we’d say that the original slot trumps all, followed by this and then Slash Game. The gameplay here is a little more diverse than slashing off all of your fingers, but still nowhere as feature-rich as the original slot.

Overall, we found Outsourced Payday to be a rather pleasant niche. It’s fairly simple though not without its quirks, and applaudable because of its uniqueness.  It’s not completely devoid of the sprinkle of Nolimit spice that we know and love but it may leave some craving the complexity that they’re renowned for.
