Base Game & Features
Fortune Snake is a 3-reel Video Slot with 10 active pay lines and bet sizes between £.€0.30 and £.€90 per spin. This low volatility slot includes an overall RTP of 96.75% and a standard max win cap of 5,000x your bet.
Wins occur when 3 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. High and Low-paying symbols include gold chains, envelopes, microphones, and firecrackers, awarding payouts between 0.3x and 100x your bet. Wilds substitute for all paytable symbols.
Stacked Wild Symbol
Reel 2 is the only reel to hold 4 symbol positions. When 4 Wild symbols land on this reel, they transform into a single Stacked Wild symbol with an active Multiplier of x10. All wins that pass through will automatically be multiplied by this value.
Bonus Bet
Players can choose to activate the Bonus Bet Feature for an additional 50% of their current bet. Once active, your chances of triggering the Fortune Snake Feature are Doubled.
Fortune Snake Feature
During any random spin in the base game, the Fortune Snake Feature may trigger. Once active, a symbol is randomly chosen from the paytable. Reels 1 and 3 will only contain the chosen symbol or blank spaces, while Reel 2 will hold Wild symbols and blanks.
Once all reels stop spinning, if there are 1 or more symbols in view, all reels will spin again with the previously appeared symbols remaining in view. At the end of the spin, if there are no additional symbols in view, the feature ends.
Our Verdict
What we’ve come to appreciate from a PGSoft title is that they’re always vibrant and full of colour, with an interesting theme and background design. Fortune Snake fits perfectly into this equation thanks to its quirky theme and lively backdrop.
For a slot with only 3 reels, providers are somewhat limited in what they can cram into the game. PGSoft has found a way to make the base game pop off through interesting Stacked Wild and Fortune Snake features.
With no Free Spins round to contend with, you will need to be at peace with these features, particularly the Fortune Snake feature, which is the star of the show and can be boosted through the Bonus Bet option.
We feel that Fortune Snake isn’t PGSoft’s best work to date, but it shows character and offers a certain amount of charm. If you appreciate PGSoft’s mobile-first approach and simple features, you’ll find Fortune Snake just the ticket!
