Temple Rush Dream Drop Slot Review
By our count, there are now more than 50 online slots featuring Dream Drop Jackpots, which were first introduced by Relax Gaming back in 2022. Since then, they’ve been featured in titles from many of Relax Gaming’s partner studios, including 4ThePlayer, Fantasma Games, and Four Leaf Gaming.
One of the newest casino games to feature these jackpots is called Temple Rush Dream Drop, which is scheduled for release in January 2025 courtesy of Four Leaf Gaming.
This game will join Four Leaf Gaming’s other Jackpot titles including Gears of Eternia Megaways, Cosmic Rush, Temple of Fury, and Dueling Jokers.
Unlike these other titles though, Temple Rush Dream Drop is Four Leaf Gaming’s first jackpot game based on a Native American civilization, which we’ll tell you all about as you continue reading through our slot review below.
Base Game & Features
Temple Rush Dream Drop is a 6-reel slot game with 4 rows per reel. You’ll also likely notice that there’s room for the row heights to expand up to a maximum height of 6 rows per reel. In the game’s standard 6×4 grid configuration, there are a total of 4,096 ways to win, but this number grows to 45,656 when the 6×6 grid configuration is active.
In order to produce a winning combination, you simply need to match 3 or more of the same symbols from left to right anywhere on adjacent reels (the symbols don’t necessarily need to be touching like they would in a fixed-payline slot).
The symbols in this game that can produce payouts are the low-paying 10-A symbols and the high-paying gem symbols. The low-paying symbols in this game offer payouts ranging from 0.05x to 0.40x, while the high-paying symbols offer payouts that range from 0.20x to 50x. There is also a Wild symbol available, which substitutes for all other symbols aside from scatter symbols.
Temple Rush Dream Drop also features Cascading Reels, simply meaning that all winning symbols are removed from the reels and replaced with new symbols. As a result, it’s possible to produce multiple winning combinations from a single spin of the reels.
According to Four Leaf Gaming, Temple Rush Dream Drop is a Low-Medium volatility slot with a volatility rating of 4/10. It features a 94% RTP along with a 6,000x maximum win multiplier.
Collect Symbols
While spinning the reels, collect symbols can appear in this game on Reels 1 & 6 in both the base game and the free spins bonus round.
Whenever a Collect symbol lands on the reels along with at least 1 Cash symbol, the value displayed on each cash symbol will be collected and awarded. This includes any cash symbols that appear on subsequent cascades as well.
Rush Multiplier
If you happen to land cash symbols without a collect symbol, it will increase the game’s Multiplier Meter. The multiplier meter increases for every 30 Cash symbols landed, which is then multiplied by all future cash symbols.
When this happens, a Guaranteed Collect symbol is added to the very next spin and the multiplier is reset after the cash symbols are collected and awarded.
Dream Drop Bonus
Randomly on any given spin, a Jackpot Spin may be awarded, which will be played before the regular spin commences. The jackpot spin gives you a chance to trigger the jackpot bonus, which is triggered when 6 Dream Drop symbols land on the reels during the jackpot spin.
When the Dream Drop Jackpot bonus is triggered via the jackpot spin as described above, each spin of the reels will result in various jackpot symbols landing along with the possibility of landing a Collect symbol.
When a collect symbol lands, it collects all jackpot symbols and adds them to their respective Jackpot Meters. This process continues until one of the meters is completely filled, at which point you’ll be awarded the associated jackpot value.
Bonus Buy
Temple Rush Dream Drop doesn’t technically have a bonus buy option, but it does have an option called Nitro Spins. For an increased bet size of 50% per spin, you can enable the Nitro Spins option, which increases your chances of triggering the bonus round.
Free Spins
The Free Spins bonus round is triggered by landing 3 or more Scatter symbols on the reels. Once you’ve triggered the bonus round, you’ll be presented a choice of the following two bonus rounds:
- Temple Rush Free Spins – Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters awards you with 10, 15, 20, or 30 temple rush free spins respectively.
- Cash Rush Free Spins – Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters awards you with 4, 6, 8, or 12 cash rush free spins respectively.
Temple Rush Free Spins
If you select this option, the reel grid will be set to the maximum configuration of 6×6 for the duration of the bonus round and there will be no Coin or Collect symbols available on the reels.
Instead, a Progressive Bonus Multiplier is activated for the bonus round and special symbols can land to either increase the bonus multiplier or to award you with additional free spins.
Cash Rush Free Spins
If you select this option, only Cash and Collect symbols will be present on the reels. During the bonus round, at least 1 Collect symbol is guaranteed to land on each spin and each spin is also guaranteed a win.
As is the case in the base game, any Cash symbols appearing on cascades are also collected and awarded during this bonus round.
Our Verdict
Temple Rush Dream Drop is the 15th game created by Four Leaf Gaming. They aren’t a massive studio by any means, but damn near all of their games have proven to be hits with casino players. And we have mad respect for providers who prioritize quality over quantity because there are simply far too many mediocre games on the market these days.
When it comes to Temple Rush Dream Drop specifically, we think players are going to appreciate that this game is a low-medium volatility slot as it’s a nice change of pace from all the high volatility slots that have been released as of late. And the game’s 94% RTP and 6,000x maximum win multiplier should also help make this game appealing to a lot of players.
With everything else that Temple Rush Dream Drop has to offer, including multiple free spins bonus rounds and a shot at 1 of 5 dream drop jackpots, this game should be a hit with players immediately upon its release.
