Base Game & Features
Crystal Robot is a standard 5-reel, 5-row Video Slot featuring 19 active pay lines and bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€100 per spin. Additional statistics include an overall RTP of 96.28%, a High Volatility rating, and a max win cap of 12,500x your bet.
This game has 4 High-paying and 5 Low-paying symbols, including Wilds that substitute for all symbols except Scatters. When in view, Wild symbols reveal a random Multiplier between x2 and x100 which is applied to the Global Multiplier.
Wins occur when 3 or more matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel, producing payouts between 0.2x and 25x your bet.
Wild Reel
In the base game, when a Mystery symbol appears, it will expand to fill the entire reel with a Stacked Wild, revealing a random Multiplier between x2 and x100. This multiplier is added to the Global Multiplier for that spin.
If the Multiplier value is greater or equal to 10, the Orange Robot will appear. Otherwise, the Grey Robot shows up instead. The mystery symbol can land in the base game and during the Overclocked Bonus.
Global Multiplier
The Global Multiplier is present in the base game and all Bonus modes, which multiplies all winning combinations. In a bonus game, the Global Multiplier is persistent for the entire feature.

Our Verdict
Backseat Gaming has come a long way since the release of Lord Venom, by pumping a number of unique features and mechanics into each release. Although Crystal Robot displays common features and mechanics, they remain timeless thanks to how they’re portrayed.
When we first found out about the Mystery symbols, we were surprised to see them in a different light. Instead of a handful of mystery symbols, each revealing the same symbol type, they fill the entire reel with Wilds, generating a Multiplier between x2 and x100.
It’s easy to confuse regular Wilds with mystery symbols, especially when they also appear with a random Multiplier between x2 and x100, but their functions and appearance are entirely different.
What is very close to identical though, is the 2 individual Scatter symbols, both of which display parts of a robot’s anatomy. Going by the price of the individual Bonus Buy options, the Overclocked Bonus is the better of the two Free Spins rounds.
However, during testing, we found there to be more going on in the Rampage Bonus. Either way, both are great options and capable of achieving the max win cap of 12,500x your bet – it all comes down to personal preference in the end.
