Beyond the aesthetics, we included subtle Easter eggs throughout the game as a nod to anime culture. The character designs, special effects, and even the way the bonus features unfold are all inspired by the dynamic and expressive storytelling that anime is known for. Working towards the three bonus features sees players undress the Moon Guardians who are shown atop the reels. Slots are naturally geared towards adults, but we don’t often see many games that take this X-rated approach, why do you think that is?

The casino industry is constantly evolving, but many developers choose to play it safe when it comes to more provocative themes. While we understand why some companies may see it as a risky move, we approached this with a strong artistic vision rather than just for shock value.

In Japan and other regions, anime and manga often embrace bold storytelling and artistic expression, and we wanted to channel that into a slot game in a way that feels natural rather than forced. That said, Moon Guardians is still designed as a premium slot experience first, the aesthetic choices are just one part of what makes it unique. The Pile Feature and diverse bonus mechanics ensure that the game stands out for more than just its theme.

On the three bonus features, can you tell us about each one and what it is they do?

Of course! The three bonus features, or what we call the Pile Collector, are designed to keep players engaged while adding an interactive element to the gameplay.

The Free Games feature eis the most straightforward bonus, activating it grants players up to 24 Free Games, increasing their chances of hitting big wins without additional wagers.

The Pin Win Bonus transforms the main reels into a 5×3 grid with special Light Blue Sphere symbols and empty cells. Players can land jackpot multipliers of up to 300x during this feature.
