In this Q&A we spoke to Piotr Simon, Product Owner at Kalamba Games!
Mark: Your 2023 roadmap was recently updated with five-hit games included in your release schedule, could you tell us more about what players have to look forward to from Kalamba?
Piotr: We have a packed lineup of highly anticipated releases for players to get excited about and enjoy.
This plethora of high-quality launches began with the release of Lightning Fortune at the end of May which was adored by players and will be quickly followed by numerous other hit titles.
Going into June we have three huge games launching making it one of our busiest times ever at Kalamba!
This is reflective of the increasing surge of player interest in our slots and the commercial growth we have sustained in recent years and is a testament to our amazing content.
We begin by travelling to Asia for Megaways™ Bushido Princess, our first release in June which builds upon the numerous Megaways™ hits we have found success with.
This will be quickly followed by a Viking-inspired adventure in Heimdall’s Gate.
We will be rounding off the month with a spooky release in Wilds From The Crypt.
In addition to all of these titles, we also have our interpretation of a crash game that will of course have a Kalamba twist attached to it boasting a distinct nautical theme which is set to dive to the depths of the ocean in July.
Mark: Can you tell us more about your new release Megaways Bushido Princess?
Piotr: Wild reels hold the key to unlocking Megaways Bushido Princess’ huge max win of 30,000x! The slot is played across five reels which are home to ever-changing ways thanks to the popular Megaways™ mechanic.
Symbols such as fans, katanas and shuriken along with other Asian-inspired icons adorn the reels.
Wilds are also present substituting for all other base game symbols and help the player in unlocking wins.
These wilds also increase players’ win potential by expanding and when triggered, becoming a wild multiplier reel and initiating a respin mechanic.
This respin can be retriggered by landing additional wild reels with each spin further increasing the wild reel’s multiplier value.
In addition to all this excitement wilds also collect any K-Cash instant win prizes on the game board increasing the thrills present in the base game
Hyperbet will allow players to control which bonus they will gain access to along with the slot having multiple different bonus buy options available.

Wilds From The Crypt in contrast to this is focused on building features.
Each 10 spins players can collect up to nine potions with every three awarding an expanding multiplier wild before triggering on the tenth spin and being reset.
