Brilliant Diamonds: Hold & Win Base Game and Features
Brilliant Diamonds: Hold & Win is a 5 reel slot with 25 fixed paylines. In order to form a win you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbols from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.
Aside from the obvious Hold & Win Respins round, the base game in Brilliant Diamonds: Hold & Win features Stacked Wilds and Diamond Modifiers. More on these below.
Stacked Wilds
During the base game, any Wild symbols that land in view will automatically be Fully Stacked, filling the entire reel.
In addition to this, all Stacked Wild symbols can land on all 5 reels.
Although this feature may not be the most exciting or what you were hoping for, Stacked Wilds can still deliver a lot of potential if you’re lucky enough to land multiple Stacked Wilds at any one time.
Diamond Modifiers
During any random spin in the base game, Diamond symbols may shower the reels, triggering the Diamond Modifiers feature.
When this happens, a Big Win or the Hold & Win Respins can be awarded.
Platinum Diamonds can also be transformed into Gold Diamonds, which award a Multiplier to the Respins round.
Brilliant Diamonds: Hold & Win Respins
Landing 5 or more Diamond symbols of either Platinum, Gold or any combination of both, triggers the Hold & Win Respins round, awarding 3 Respins. In addition to this, any of the Jackpot symbols can also land as part of the intial trigger.
If you trigger the Hold & Win Respins round with a Gold Diamond symbol, you will automatically start the Respins round with a Multiplier in play. Depending on how many Gold Diamond symbols land for the initial trigger, will each award a +1 Multiplier. Gold Diamond symbols are not active during the Respins round.
Once active, all higher and lower-paying symbols are removed and all Diamond symbols that triggered the intial trigger will remain in their position. Each time a new Diamond symbol lands in view, it will become Sticky and will remain in its position for the duration of Respins, resetting the Respins counter back to 3 each time.
Jackpot Prizes
During the Hold & Win Respins round, 3 individual Jackpot Prizes can be awarded.
- Minor – Awards 20x your current bet.
- Major – Awards 200x your current bet.
- Grand – Awards 1,000x your current bet.
The Hold & Win Respins round will come to an end when all Respins are complete or if all 15 grid positions are filled.

Here we have a game with a bog standard RTP, medium volatility and a modest 5,440x maximum win value, which sounds good enough, but is it enough to grab your attention?
If you’re a sucker for the weird and wonderful themes of modern day slots then Brilliant Diamonds Hold and Win will feel a little aged to you if anything. It’s got an uninventive concept if we’re honest, but perhaps it caters to a kind of player who believes that all of the inventions of today’s slots are nothing but unnecessary nonsense.
iSoftBet are certainly one of the bigger players in the iGaming industry, and if we’re honest we expected something a little better than this. Perhaps an easy release is better than none at all? Or is it the other way round if an easy release turns into a boring one?
