Caribbean Anne 2: Our Verdict

In our opinion, Kalamba Games has gone to considerable lengths to make Caribbean Anne 2 better than the original as all sequels should be (Although it doesn’t always turn out that way)

The original slot was quite centred around Jackpot prizes, which is completely absent from Caribbean Anne 2. If you’ve got a certain soft spot for Jackpot Slots, then you might miss this feature, but Caribbean Anne 2 has plenty of the right stuff in the form of Locking Wild Respins, and Free Spins, and there’s even a Hyper Bonus for those who prefer to jump straight into the action.

In a weird way, Caribbean Anne 2 reminds us of the likes Stallion Strike and Legend of Hydra with the way it marks the spaces in the Locking Wild Respins. In those particular slots you were hoping for a fair few of them before the symbol that triggered it landed, and in Caribbean Anne much of the same is true. At times, it falls a bit flat when you don’t get the concentration of Wild Frames that you need, but if you rack up a few of them before they trigger then you can end up with a sizeable win.

When it comes to Caribbean Anne 2’s potential, it far exceeds that of its predecessor. The maximum win capabilities of the original was 5,000x, but Kalamba Games has upped the ante in the sequel with a whopping 14,100x win potential.

Overall, we don’t think Caribbean Anne will be for everyone, and it certainly isn’t a revolutionary slot. As far as sequels go though, it’s definitely improved.
