In terms of symbols, the highest paying regular symbol in Flip Royale is the Gold Coin, followed by 2 Silver Coins and a Bronze Coin. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten.

Flip royale Base Game and Features

Flip Royale is a 5 reel slot with 10 fixed paylines. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbol types from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Although Quickspin has made Flip Royale as basic as possible for new players, they still opted for a Coin Flip feature to bring some much-needed entertainment to the base game. More on this below.

Coin Flip

During the base game, if 1 or more of the reels has all 3 sections filled with matching Coin symbols, it will trigger the Coin Flip feature.

Once active, each of the 3 Coin symbols will flip over, awarding additional Coin symbols in other positions on the reels. If multiple Coin symbols trigger this feature during the same spin, the generated symbols will be Wilds rather than Coins.

During this feature, if other reels have their 3 sections filled with Coin or Wild symbols, the Coin Flip feature will also activate for this reel.

Flip Royale Free Spins

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters in any position on the reels, triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 6, 10 and 20 Free Spins respectively.

During the Free Spins round, the Coin Flip feature is active and is guranteed to trigger with each free spin.

Flip Royale: Our Verdict

We were all new to the world of slots once a upon a time, so we can sympathize with new players and how overwhelming it can be picking their first slot to play. It’s nice to see a Provider that takes care of all their players, not just the ones that have been playing the longest, and Quickspin has done just that with Flip Royale.

For those of us who love Quickspin and what they have to offer, Flip Royal may not be as explosive and dramatic as the others, but it’s not terrible either. Considering who Quickspin’s target audience is, they have still managed to include a Coin Flip feature to brighten up the base game a little. Granted, Coin Flip isn’t the most thrilling of features, but to who Quickspin are trying to impress, it’s more than satisfactory.

To keep things nice and simple, Quickspin has not included a Bonus Buy option here, which will only disappoint those who usually have access to them. The Free Spins round picks up a little in the sense that the Coin Flip feature triggers with each Free Spin, rather than randomly in the base game.

Statistically, Flip Royale is looking good with an above average RTP of 96.20% and not surprisingly, a rather low maximum win capacity of 433x, which makes perfect sense given the Medium Volatility.
