Our Verdict

Fruit Shop Megaways Slot is a strange yet oddly alluring. 

It’s great to see a revival of the old Fruit Shop in Megaways form, and the classic fruit theme will resonate really well with fans of the original or old school players. 

Cascading reels are missing, which isn’t a deal breaker by any means…some of the best games like Dog House, Morgana and Curse of the Werewolf also do without, and you can kind of see why it was excluded if you look at the way it bonuses. 

The game can definitely be frustrating when you bonus if you don’t accumulate a lot of spins, which in theory shouldn’t be that hard considering that low paying symbols also now add spins.

But it’s still a little bit soul destroying when you walk away with a pitiful bonus, but thankfully you need only go back to the base game and hit on a medium symbol to try again.
