About NetGaming
NetGaming was founded in early 2018, though it didn’t make its public debut until the following year — unveiling six new games at ICE London 2019, which led to its first distribution deal with BetConstruct.
Officially registered in Malta, the slot studio operates with offices and labs in London, Brighton, and India, giving it a genuinely multinational footprint for a developer of its size.
The team that built the studio was experienced from the start. CEO Pallavi Deshmukh and others came from established names in the industry — including veterans who had previously worked at NetEnt and Pragmatic Play — which helped NetGaming avoid some of the early stumbles that typically slow newer developers down. It has since partnered with aggregators and signed a deal with 888Casino to expand into the UK market, and distribution now runs through Relax Gaming, EveryMatrix, Pariplay, and Slotegrator, among others.
On the regulatory side, NetGaming holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and the Hellenic Gaming Commission. RNG certification comes from eCOGRA, and RTPs are published transparently per title. Earlier releases generally sit in the 95–96% range, though titles from 2022 onwards have tended to come in a touch lower, around 94%, which is something worth bearing in mind when browsing the catalogue.
The portfolio itself is modest in size by industry standards. NetGaming releases roughly one new game every one to two months, prioritising quality over volume. That measured pace is reflected in the games themselves: most titles aren’t overloaded with features, typically offering a bonus round and one or two modifiers, which keeps things accessible without feeling bare. Volatility spans the full range, though high variance tends to be more common.
Thematically, the catalogue takes a few notable swings. The Shelby Online Video Slot — a branded collaboration with the American car company — tops the max win charts at 16,000x. Kitty Cafe has carved out a loyal following with its cluster-pays mechanics and cosy aesthetic, while Mansa Musa’s Golden Journey introduces cash collect mechanics built around the historical Malian emperor — a more culturally specific theme than most studios attempt.
The studio has also shown a willingness to experiment: it entered the NFT gaming space in 2022 with Aped, a collaboration with the Mutant Ape NFT project, though that side of the business hasn’t been a continued focus.
NetGaming isn’t the most prolific studio, and it isn’t yet a household name, but the underlying quality is there, and its regulatory positioning in key markets like the UK and Ontario gives it real distribution credibility.
“NetGaming has the potential to be a massive slot powerhouse is they keep it up, although the RTPs on the newer catalogue are a bit of a concern, as some of those post-2022 titles come in under 94.5% which is on the lower end of acceptable.” Mark, Content Editor
“I’ve had some decent sessions on Mansa Musa’s Golden Journey — the cash collect mechanic builds tension nicely and the theme is actually interesting for once. Zeus’s Thunderbolt is one I go back to as well because the jackpot ladder gives you something to chase.” Scotty T, Fruity Slots Streamer
