100 Extra Crown 6 Reels Slot Review
Heat haze ripples across a deep red sky that fades to black at the top and bottom, and a thick gold frame holds six reels of glossy fruit in front of it. 100 Extra Crown 6 Reels is dressed like a classic and built like one too, but with 100 lines and an expanding crown wild underneath, the familiar template has room to pay.
Amusnet have given the fruit format a grid of six reels and four rows with 100 fixed paylines, mid volatility and bets from 1.00 to 100.00 per spin. Two scatters and a four-level jackpot sit alongside the fruit.
It sits in the same part of the catalogue as 100 Golden Coins Dice Edition and Hot Deco Super Pot, with Versailles Gold Buy Bonus nearby for good measure.
Symbols and Pays Across 100 Lines
Eleven symbols fill the reels: fruit, bells, sevens, the crown wild and two scatters. All wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, and only the highest combination on each line counts.
Wins on different lines add together, and scatter wins are paid on top of payline wins. Line wins are multiplied by the bet on the winning line, while scatters multiply against the total bet. Here’s what each symbol pays, as a multiple of your total stake:
- 7 – 40x for six, 4x for five, 0.8x for four, 0.2x for three
- Watermelon / Grapes – 8x for six, 2x for five, 0.4x for four, 0.1x for three
- Bell – 4x for six, 0.8x for five, 0.2x for four, 0.05x for three
- Plum / Orange – 2x for six, 0.4x for five, 0.1x for four, 0.05x for three
- Lemon / Cherry – 2x for six, 0.4x for five, 0.1x for four, 0.05x for three
- $ Scatter (anywhere) – 500x for six, 250x for five, 20x for four, 2x for three
- Star Scatter (reels two to five) – 200x for four, 10x for three
The crown wild lands on reels two, three, four and five only, substitutes for everything on its reel except the two scatters, and expands before winnings are paid out. That expansion is where the base game gets its bite: a full stack of crowns across the middle reels can turn several of those 100 lines into winners at once.
The $ scatter pays from anywhere on the grid, while the pink star scatter is restricted to the middle four reels. Neither cares about paylines, which makes them the only symbols that don’t need to line up left to right.
Between them they’re also the richest pays in the game, outstripping anything the regular symbols manage.
Speed is adjustable when the reels start to drag. Holding the Start button engages Turbo Spin, and the reel-stopping speed offers four levels. An Ultra Play mode runs autoplay at ultra-fast pace without spinning reels.
Autoplay itself can be given a set number of spins with a countdown, and stopped at any time. On desktop, the spacebar starts and stops the reels too.
Jackpot Cards
Jackpot Cards is the feature that can turn an ordinary spin into something bigger. It triggers randomly once a game finishes and any winnings are collected, and when it does, one of its four levels is guaranteed.
The base game carries on regardless, and autoplay picks itself back up afterwards from wherever it paused. Each level is illustrated by a card suit, with its current value displayed beside it:
- Clubs – first level, the lowest value
- Diamonds – second level
- Hearts – third level
- Spades – fourth and highest level
Contributions to each level are calculated as a percentage of your bet, with nothing deducted from the stake itself. Bets of 5.00 and above qualify, and every entry carries a random chance at any of the four levels.
When somebody at the feature wins, every player currently in it gets a notification on screen. Once inside, you’re shown a field of 12 face-down cards.
You keep picking until three matching suit symbols are revealed, and the level awarded matches the suit you find. The win is whatever that level had accumulated at the moment the third card flipped, added straight to your balance.
The feature also supports recovery after a disconnection, and any amount won here can’t be carried into the Gamble round.
The Gamble Round
Smaller wins can be gambled, though there’s a cap on which ones qualify, and it’s a modest one. Press the Gamble button and you’re shown a face-down card flashing red and black; pick a colour and the card flips.
Guess right and the gamble amount doubles, then a new face-down card appears. Guess wrong and the amount is lost, ending the round. The number of attempts is set in advance and varies between one and five depending on the configuration.
A history strip keeps the last five cards visible, though each flip is independent, so past cards tell you nothing about the next one. Collect at any point to move the win into your balance and walk away.
The screen shows both the amount you’re doubling and what a correct guess would return, so the maths is always in front of you. It’s a standard red-or-black gamble, nothing more.
One wrinkle: Jackpot Cards winnings are excluded, so the biggest prizes this game can produce never pass through it.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.9/10
This one is a steady rhythm rather than a chase. Spins tick along, the crown wild keeps the lines busy when it lands, and every qualifying spin carries the quiet second hope of the Jackpot Cards screen appearing. The reason to choose it is exactly that: a fruit slot with a jackpot ladder always ticking underneath.
The expanding wild is the best thing here. Four reels can host it, and when it fills more than one of them, a single spin pays across dozens of lines. The paytable is the problem: six of the top symbol returns just 40 times the stake, so ordinary play tops out modestly, and the gamble’s qualifying cap shuts the bigger wins out of the doubling card entirely.
It suits players who like the classic Amusnet fruit format and want a jackpot running quietly alongside it, and mid volatility keeps the balance well behaved while it happens. The base symbols were never going to produce this game’s biggest numbers, and that was never what the crown was for.
