3 Lucky Rainbows Action Boost SpinUP Slot Review
Rainbow light pours down the left of the screen, past a gold leprechaun hat with its brim heaped in coins, and lands on three pots of gold sitting above the reels. 3 Lucky Rainbows Action Boost SpinUP makes those pots the entire point: this is a slot that barely pretends to care about its paytable and hands everything over to which coins land. If that sounds like a design flaw, it isn’t, but you have to enjoy a game that treats the reels as a coin sorter.
SpinPlay Games has built the whole slot around which coins you collect. It runs on a 5×4 grid with 20 fixed paylines, at 96.49% RTP and high volatility, feeding three distinct Action Boost SpinUP rounds off the colours you gather. The coin-collecting is the whole story.
Base Game & Features
The reels sit in a sunlit Irish meadow, all hyper-saturated greens and golds, with the three coloured pots lined up directly above the reel frame. Wins pay left to right across the 20 fixed lines, and only the highest winning combination counts per symbol. Stakes run from 0.10 to 50.00 per spin.
Wild symbols are stacked on all reels and substitute for everything except the bonus symbols. They also form their own winning combinations. That’s the base game’s entire kit: wilds, coins and patience.
The Paytable
Pays below are multiples of the stake for three, four and five of a kind:
- Clover: 0.5x, 1x, 5x
- Beer Mug / Shoe: 0.25x, 0.5x, 2.5x
- Harp / Violin: 0.25x, 0.5x, 2x
- A, K, Q, J, 10, 9: 0.1x, 0.25x, 1x
It’s a modest ladder. Even a full line of Clovers returns five times the stake, so the line game exists to keep the balance ticking while the coins do the real work.
How the Coins Work
Three coin colours appear on the reels, and each collects into the pot of the same colour above the reels: green, red or purple. Gold Coins are the fourth type, and they collect to the gold hat.
Rainbow Spin
Whenever a Gold Coin appears, there’s a chance the Rainbow Spin feature triggers. All rainbows activate, one Rainbow Spin is awarded, and any Coins landing on the rainbows trigger the free spins. The combination of Coins that land decides which Action Boost SpinUP you get, and Coins can arrive with no upgrades, one upgrade or two.
It’s a layered trigger: a coin lands, then a chance fires, then the coin mix decides the round. None of it is in your hands.
3 Lucky Rainbows Action Boost SpinUP Free Spins & Bonus Rounds
The three rounds are chosen by the colour of the Coins that collect, with stacked wilds and the Rainbow Spin bridging the gap from the base game. All three award 10 free spins, and all three can be upgraded twice while they run.
Green Coin: Nudged Wilds on a Grown Grid
The green round plays 40 lines on reels grown to a height of six symbol positions. Any reel showing a Wild gets nudged so every position on that reel is Wild, with wins paid after the nudge.
Every Gold Coin during the round awards a bonus credit prize or a Rainbow Spin. The Rainbow Spin can add a credit prize, upgrade a symbol to Clover for the remaining spins, or upgrade the feature itself. Symbols upgrade before any wins are paid, and each feature upgrade adds more wilds to the following spin for the rest of the round.
Red Coin: The Clover Jackpot Ladder
The red round is the collector’s game. Every Gold Coin awards a clover, a bonus credit prize or a Rainbow Spin, and the clovers feed five jackpots:
- 7 Gold Clovers: MEGA
- 6 Red Clovers: MAXI
- 5 Purple Clovers: MAJOR
- 4 Blue Clovers: MINOR
- 3 Green Clovers: MINI
When a jackpot lands, its clovers reset, so the ladder can pay again in the same round. Rainbow Spins in this mode award clovers, credit prizes, a jackpot boost for the remaining spins, or a feature upgrade. Each upgrade cuts the clover requirement for every jackpot by one, which is a meaningful acceleration when the top rung starts at seven.
Purple Coin: The Multiplier
The purple round is the simplest and possibly the sharpest. Every Gold Coin awards a credit prize, one or two free spins, or a Rainbow Spin, and the round runs with an active multiplier on all line wins and credit prizes. It starts at 2x, one upgrade takes it to 3x, and two take it to 5x.
The Rainbow Spins in this mode can also add one, two or three free spins on top of the upgrade, so the round can keep extending itself while the multiplier climbs.
Multiple Coin Rounds
If multiple Action Boost SpinUPs trigger on a single base spin, all of them play out together in one 10-spin round. The purple multiplier applies to every line win and credit prize across the combined modes, though not to jackpots, and every upgrade awarded during the round adds two extra spins. The bet multiplier stays the same as the triggering spin.
That combined mode is the payoff the whole design points at: a six-row grid of nudged wilds, a resetting jackpot ladder and a climbing multiplier, all in the same ten spins.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
Playing 3 Lucky Rainbows Action Boost SpinUP is mostly sitting in a very pretty meadow, feeding a coin sorter and waiting. The one reason to choose it is what the sorting pays out: three genuinely different bonus games, and the rare chance all three arrive at once.
That variety is the strength, and it’s real. A grown grid of nudged wilds, a clover ladder that resets and can pay twice in a round, a multiplier that climbs to 5x. The weakness is just as real: you never get a single decision. The coins pick the round, a chance layer picks the trigger, the Rainbow Spin picks the upgrades, and it all happens to you.
It’s a good home for collectors, jackpot hunters and anyone who likes watching a system build itself over ten spins. Anyone who wants the reels themselves to pay won’t find it here. The pots are the game, and for the right player they’re worth filling.
