3 Wildos Slot Review
Three daring bandits return for their third escapade, this time navigating ancient pyramids and mysterious ruins, in 3 Wildos, courtesy of Thunderkick. Set across 5 reels and a distinct set of pay lines, 3 Wildos thrives on daring decisions, unpredictable twists, and a gang that seems permanently on the brink of disaster.
Strategy may be optional, but confidence is never in short supply. Quick, lively, and packed with character, this instalment captures everything that makes the Wildos so entertainingly chaotic.
Drawn in by the charm of this mischievous trio, the original The Wildos set things in motion for what quickly became a standout series. That inspiration carried into The Wildos 2, which refined the experience and pushed the max win potential into more ambitious territory.
Thunderkick has established quite a reputation for originality and bold design, though some recent releases have not quite reached the same heights. With the Wildos series continuing to evolve, there is a clear sense that Thunderkick may be rediscovering the inventive spark that defined their position within the iGaming industry…

Base Game & Features
3 Wildos is a highly volatile, 5-reel, 3-row video slot, operating under 9 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations are guaranteed when 3, 4, or 5 identical symbols land on adjoining reels, so long as they connect to active pay lines.
The Red Wildo is the highest-paying symbol, followed by the Blue & Green Wildo. Other symbols include a Golden Statue, Feather Hat, Compass, Hearts, Spades, Clubs, & Diamonds. After a spin is finished, each winning combination awards a fixed payout between 0.2x and 50x your bet.

Multiplier Wilds
Multiplier Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatters and appear on reels 2, 3, & 4. When 1 or more Multiplier Wilds are part of a win, their values are combined before being applied to the fixed payout. For example, if a 2x Multiplier and a 3x Multiplier are part of the same win, the total value would be 6x your bet.

3 Wildos: Free Spins
Throughout gameplay, Scatter symbols are represented by Red, Blue, or Green Cakes, which are linked to each of the Wildos above the reels. When a Scatter symbol appears in view, it is collected by its respective Wildo above the reels. The collection of Scatters is purely cosmetic and does not affect the odds of any payouts.
The Free Spins mode is triggered by any Cake Scatter combination, awarding 3 Free Spins as standard. However, triggering the Free Spins mode with the Green Wildo active awards a further +1 Free Spin to the total.

During this mode, each new Multiplier Wild resets the current Free Spins to 3 (or 4 if the Green Wildo is active). Multiplier Wilds remain sticky on the reels until the end of the feature. Additionally, the active colours of Cake Scatters determine which power-ups apply to the session:
- Collect (Blue Wildo): Adds a Collect Wild to the reels, appearing at least once, gathering all Multipliers from visible Wilds. When paired with the Red Wildo, the collection occurs after its power-up.
- Upgrade (Red Wildo): Upgrades 1 or more Multiplier Wilds by adding a +x3 value. The upgraded value remains active until the feature ends, and at least 1 upgrade is guaranteed.
- Extra (Green Wildo): Awards an additional +1 Free Spin, taking the total to 4 Free Spins before the session begins.

Bet+ & Bonus Buy
Players may purchase any of the following Bet+ & Bonus Buy options:
- Bonus Boost: Each spin is 3 times more likely to trigger the Free Spins mode for 3x your bet per spin
- 1 Wildo Free Spins: Triggers the Free Spins mode with the Red, Blue, or Green Wildo active for 50x your bet
- 2 Wildos Free Spins: Guarantees entry to the Free Spins mode with 2 Wildos active for 80x your bet
- 3 Wildos Free Spins: Enter the Free Spins mode with all 3 Wildos active for 200x your bet
3 Wildos has a maximum win capacity of 5,000x your bet. If a single session exceeds this, the player returns to the base game with the qualifying amount.

Our Honest Verdict
One of Thunderkick’s consistent strengths lies in its ability to evolve with the growing iGaming market, weaving popular mechanics and contemporary features into both new concepts and existing series. 3 Wildos continues that approach, introducing the ‘3 pots’ mechanic into the Wildos universe, but does it deliver and meet our expectations set by its predecessors?
The departure from the Wild West sets this instalment apart, relocating our beloved bandits to an Aztec-infused setting while preserving the series’ explosive energy. Although the base game’s primary, and only, focus is on Multiplier Wilds, each spin carries a level of anticipation thanks to the Cake Scatters, which represent the individual Wildos and their distinct Power-Ups.
What makes the ‘3 Pots’ mechanic particularly engaging is the unpredictability during each Free Spins mode, leading to surprises. The Red Wildo once again holds much of the potential in its higher Multiplier Wilds and Upgrade Power-Up. However, triggering all 3 Wildos simultaneously increases the overall win potential, creating more chances of landing the 5,000x max win potential.
All in all, 3 Wildos is a refreshing addition to the series, offering a creative shift in theme and several engaging Free Spins modes. The introduction of the ‘3 pots’ mechanic and the 5,000x max win potential ensures there is enough excitement to keep the experience compelling.
