Base Game & Features
9K Yeti Gold Dream Drop is a highly volatile, 6-reel, 4-row video slot with 4,096 ways to win. Winning combinations occur when 2-6 identical symbols appear on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1.
The highest-paying symbol falls to the Yeti, followed by the Hikers, Tent, Mountain Axe, Rope, and A, K, Q, J, & 10 card ranks. When a winning combination has been determined on the reels, a fixed payout between 0.2x and 8.8x your bet is awarded.
Additionally, Wild symbols substitute for all symbols across reels 1-6, excluding Scatters. Finally, Scatter symbols appear on all reels and are responsible for triggering the Free Spins mode.
Gold Coins
During gameplay, special Gold Coins can overlay any symbol across any of the 6 reels. Each Gold Coin that appears on reel 1 has the potential to trigger the Snowstorm Feature, whilst Gold Coins on reel 6 may trigger the Avalanche Feature.

Snowstorm Feature
For the Snowstorm Feature to activate, at least 2 Yeti symbols are required to appear on the reels. Once active, the Snowstorm Feature will shuffle all symbols within the reel set to create or improve a Yeti (high-paying) win for that spin.
Avalanche Feature
Once the Avalanche Feature is activated on reel 6, it will drop 1 or more high-paying Yeti Stacks onto random reels, guaranteeing a win involving at least 1 full stack of Yeti symbols.
Dream Drop Bonus
The Dream Drop Bonus can be triggered randomly in the base game by collecting Blue, Green, Purple, & Red Coins onto the Jackpot Wheel above the main reel set, of which there are 5 Jackpots available: Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major, & Mega.

Our Honest Verdict
Whether you believe in the abominable snowman or not, 4ThePlayer keeps its existence alive in their latest release, 9K Yeti Gold Dream Drop. After finding ourselves at the pinnacle of Mount Everest in 90K Yeti Gigablox, home to a whopping 90,000x win potential, we’re taking the scenic route in this release, with still so much to take in along the way.
Given the noticeable differences between this release and 90K Yeti Gigablox, it wouldn’t be fair to compare the two; however, 4ThePlayer has taken this release back to its roots, offering the same max win potential, features, & mechanics as the original 9K Yeti, with the welcome addition of Relax Gaming’s Dream Drop mechanic to give it that edge.
Instead of pay lines, 9K Yeti Gold Dream Drop explores 4,096 ways to win. As the reels spin, Gold Coins are collected into Snowstorm & Avalanche Snowglobes, as well as separate Coloured Coins for the Jackpot Wheel above the main reel set.
Each feature, whether it be Snowstorm or Avalanche, is linked to the highest-paying (Yeti) symbol. It can take some time for the features to warm up, but for the best results, you’ll want a sizable number of Yeti symbols on the reels.
During Free Spins, there’s an increased chance of triggering the Avalanche & Snowstorm Features, with a generous number of Free Spins to do so. Landing 3 or 4 Scatters awards your standard number of Free Spins, but the more you land, the higher the Free Spins number climbs, up to a maximum of 88 for 6 Scatters.
The 9,012x max win potential is a pretty compelling figure, but it comes at the cost of a 94.08% RTP module due to the Dream Drop mechanic. Understandably, the Dream Drop Jackpot has its own potential, but it strips the main game of a suitable RTP while implementing a high volatility rating.
If you can handle the statistical adjustments for the occasional spin of the Jackpot Wheel, you’ll find 9K Yeti Gold Dream Drop a desirable choice. Otherwise, you may just want to stick to what you know & love from the previous instalments.
