Amazing Legends Lucky Devils Slot Review
Three chibi horned imps perch above the reels of Amazing Legends Lucky Devils, each on his own heaped mound of gold in a crimson cavern that glows molten red. The devil theme is the least interesting thing here. What makes this game worth a look is that every bonus round is dealt a different hand of helpers before it starts, so the same feature never plays the same way twice, and SpinPlay have left the base game almost nothing to do in between.
SpinPlay Games build this one on a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, running at 96.49% RTP on high volatility, with a hit rate of 34.03%. It’s the same family as Amazing Legends Olympus and Amazing Legends Perseus, a series we’ve covered before, and the hold-and-win round those games share is here again, with a devilish twist on the helpers.
Base Game & Features
Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost, and only the highest combination counts per line. If several winning combinations land on a single payline, only the best one is awarded. Just over a third of spins return something, which sounds generous until you see what the lines actually pay.
The top symbols are thin, and the royals thinner still. Payouts are based on the initial bet, which is the total bet divided by the 20-line cost, and the total payout is the sum of every line win from the spin. Here’s what each symbol returns, as a multiple of the line bet:
- Roulette Wheel: 1x for three, 2x for four, 5x for five
- Playing Card suit icon: 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 4x for five
- Dice: 0.3x for three, 0.5x for four, 3x for five
- Whiskey Glass: 0.3x for three, 0.5x for four, 3x for five
- A, K, Q: 0.2x for three, 0.4x for four, 2x for five
- J: 0.1x for three, 0.3x for four, 1x for five
- 10: 0.1x for three, 0.3x for four, 1x for five
- 9: 0.1x for three, 0.3x for four, 1x for five
Five of a kind of the Roulette Wheel returns five times the line bet, the highest payout among the symbols in this list. The rest sits in the feature, in the jackpots, and in the Prize symbols that never appear outside the bonus.
Wild Symbols
Fire symbols are wilds, stacked on every reel and substituting for everything except Bonus and Prize symbols. They appear in the base game only, and they’re the main reason a line win ever climbs past small change.
A full stack across the right reels can carry several lines at once, which is the one way ordinary spins produce anything memorable. Wilds can also form their own winning combination when they land in a payline pattern, so a stack doesn’t need help to pay.
Stakes run from 0.20 to 20.00 per spin, a narrow band that suits a game built around patience rather than escalation. Autoplay is available in the base game only, with a set number of spins plus loss and win limits that end the session early if either is reached.
Quickspin resolves spins faster and the stop button cuts a spin short, neither of which changes the outcome. Spins play out the same either way; the pace is purely cosmetic.
Amazing Legends Lucky Devils Bonus Features
Hold and Respin Round
Whenever one or more Bonus symbols appear, there’s a chance the Amazing Legends feature triggers. The Bonus symbols that landed transform into locked Prize symbols, and three respins are awarded. Every further Prize or Bonus symbol that lands locks in place and resets the respins back to three.
Nothing lands, and the counter ticks down by one. The round ends when the respins run out or every position fills. Each Prize symbol holds a cash value or a MINI, MINOR or MAJOR jackpot, all paid at the end of the feature.
Fill the entire grid and the MEGA jackpot is awarded on top. The bet multiplier carries over from the triggering spin, so the values on the locked symbols are sized to what you were staking when it began.
Which Bonus symbols landed in the triggering spin decides which of the three helper symbols can appear inside the round. That’s the twist this entry adds to the family formula, and it means no two triggers are dealt the same hand. The three helpers, and what each does before locking in as a Prize symbol:
- Prize Boost: adds its random value to every locked Prize symbol on the grid
- Collect-All: gathers the values of all locked Prize symbols into itself
- Multiplier: applies a random 2x or 3x to locked Prize symbols
Prize Boost Bonus Symbol
The Prize Boost symbol lands with a random value that’s added to every locked Prize symbol on the grid. It then becomes a Prize symbol itself and locks in before the next respin. A late Prize Boost can turn a modest board into a serious one in a single stroke.
Collect-All Bonus Symbol
Collect-All gathers the values of every locked Prize symbol, then transforms and locks as a Prize symbol carrying what it collected. The values it swept up stay on the board inside it, so nothing is lost, and anything that lands afterwards builds on top of the total. It’s the simplest of the three helpers and the most satisfying to see arrive on a crowded grid.
Multiplier Bonus Symbol
The Multiplier symbol awards a random 2x or 3x and applies it to locked Prize symbols, before turning into a Prize symbol with its own random value and locking in. Multiplied boards are where the biggest single-round payouts in the game come from, and a Multiplier following a Collect-All is the sequence the whole round is built to deliver.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.2/10
Sitting down at Lucky Devils means long stretches of watching stacked wilds return pocket change, waiting for the imps to open the vault. That’s the one reason to choose it: when the feature arrives, you don’t know which helpers came with it, and a round that starts identically can finish anywhere. The MEGA on a full grid is the dream, and the dream stays alive because every trigger is a fresh deal.
The helpers are the best thing here, because they make the round genuinely variable rather than a fixed ladder you’ve already climbed elsewhere. The weakness is just as plain: the base game has nothing of its own, and the wait between triggers can stretch.
This is one for hold-and-win players who want the round to surprise them, and it’s an easy next step if Perseus or Olympus were already in rotation. Anyone who needs free spins or a base game with ideas will find the underworld a quiet place between fires.
