Base Game & Features
Bash Bros is a low volatility release from Hacksaw Gaming, featuring 5 reels, 4 rows, and 1,024 ways to win. Paytable symbols trigger winning combinations when 3-5 matching symbols appear on reels 1-5, starting from reel 1.
The highest-paying symbol is the Skateboard, followed by the Chainsaw, Trap, Spray Can, Lighter, and A, K, Q, J, & 10 card suits. Each confirmed win awards a fixed payout between 0.1x and 2x your bet.
After a win is evaluated, all winning symbols are removed from the reels via an Avalanche Feature. This enables additional winning sequences to occur within the same spin. Lastly, Wild symbols are not available during gameplay, and FS Scatters are responsible for triggering up to 3 Free Spins modes.
Cash Stacks
Throughout a game session, special Cash symbols may appear on the reels, revealing a random Bet Multiplier between 1x and 10,000x your bet. Once in view, each Cash symbol will transform into a Cash Stack, covering all available positions above its corresponding cell position.
After expansion, the trail of Cash Stacks will reveal individual Bet Multipliers between 1x and 10,000x your bet. Once expanded to its maximum potential, the total value of all Cash symbols is added together to determine the final payout.
When there is more than 1 Cash Stack on the reels, the Bet Multipliers are added together first, and then multiplied by your current bet. Please note that only 1 Cash Stack can appear on the same reel in a single spin.
The Bashing Bros
After each spin, if there are Cash Stacks available, there is a chance for Oskar or Fred to ‘smash & bash’ the reels, triggering their respective functions:
- Oskar: Destroys up to 4 paytable symbols on a reel without an active Cash Stack. After this, a Cash symbol is positioned on the bottom reel position, spreading upwards to award further Cash Stacks between 1x and 10,000x your bet.
- Fred: Compresses all visible Cash Stacks into a single Cash symbol per reel, with a Bet Multiplier of all values combined. After a Cash Stack is compressed, an additional Bet Multiplier is added to each empty cell position, matching the previous Cash Stack Multipliers.
If Oskar & Fred should trigger simultaneously, each new Cash Stack will be compressed and awarded double the Bet Multiplier. Please note that both characters can only trigger at the same time once per spin.
If there are existing Cash Stacks on the reels, only Fred can activate his Modifier.
Bash Bros Free Spins
When 3 FS Scatters appear within a base game spin, the Bros Before Blows bonus triggers, awarding 10 Free Spins. This mode retains the same base game mechanics, with an increased chance of landing Cash symbols.
Revealing 2 or 3 FS Scatters in a single spin will result in an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins being awarded, respectively.
Cash Me Outside
The next available Free Spins session is Cash Me Outside, triggered when 4 FS Scatters land anywhere in the base game, awarding 10 Free Spins. The current mechanics and functions found in the Bros Before Blows session are carried over to this mode.
Each Cash Stack to appear in view is guaranteed to trigger either Oskar’s or Fred’s unique Modifier. Finally, landing 2 or 3 FS Scatters awards a further +2 and +4 Free Spins, respectively.
Reactor Riot
Reactor Riot is classified as a hidden bonus, triggered when 5 FS Scatters appear in the base game, awarding 10 Free Spins. Maintaining the same mechanics and functions from the previous two modes, this session guarantees 1 Bash & Smash Modifier with each spin.

Players may purchase one of the following Featurespins & Bonus Buy options:

Our Honest Verdict
Hacksaw Gaming continues to prove its effectiveness with a wide range of variations in Bash Bros, one of which is 1,024 ways to win instead of odd pay lines. Are you sure we’ve got the right provider?
Unlike most mascots for Hacksaw Gaming’s releases, Oskar & Fred are rather animated characters that play an important role during The Bashing Bros feature. Aesthetically, the pair are both visually pleasing and comedic, adapting to gameplay in a rather intriguing way.
Multiplier Wilds are a trademark of Hacksaw Gaming, and although Cash Stacks reveal Bet Multipliers, there seems to be a total lack of Multipliers and Wilds here. Instead, Bash Bros feels more like an Instant-Win game than anything else.
Logistically, the further down the Cash symbol lands on the reel, the better the outcome will be. It’s not quite as easy as that, but it does help when winning combinations are removed, causing it to drop down into a lower cell position.
Having Cash symbols transform into Stacks is only the start of something beautiful. Once a Cash symbol expands, there’s also the chance to trigger one or both Bashing Bros Modifiers, causing a special event to alter the way Cash symbols appear on the reels for bigger payouts.
Oskar can remove paytable symbols so that additional Cash symbols can land on the reels, while Fred has the power to compress all visible Cash Stacks so that their values can double – pretty neat, right? Well, it only gets better during Free Spins.
The Bros Before Blows session is your traditional Free Spins mode, with an increased chance of landing Cash symbols. Naturally, though, you’ll want to aim for the Cash Me Outside session, which guarantees a whack from one of the boys, or the Reactor Riot mode, where whacks are guaranteed with each spin.
All this ‘bashing & smashing’ leads to respectable payouts worth up to 10,000x your bet. All in all, Bash Bros is a great offering from Hacksaw Gaming, but it’s not the most significant one in their catalogue.
