Bass Cash Diamond X UP is classified as a ‘very high‘ volatility release, consisting of 5 reels, 4 rows, and 1,024 ways to win. Winning combinations are triggered when 3, 4, or 5 symbol instances appear on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1.
The game features 9 paytable symbols, represented by dogs, tackleboxes, bait, rods, and a variety of card suits (A-10), awarding payouts between 0.2x and 4x your bet. In addition, Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Scatters, Cash, Jackpot, and Collect symbols.
Cash Collect
During gameplay, special Fisherman symbols can appear on reels 1 & 5. Should they appear within the same spin as Cash & Jackpot Prizes, the Fisherman symbol will collect their total values and apply them to your current balance.
Each Cash and Jackpot symbols award the following payouts:
- Cash Prizes: Between 0.2x and 10x your bet

X UP Feature
In the base game, up to 4 X UP symbols can land on the reels, each of a different colour. Collecting X UP tokens will progress the Multiplier Level within the X UP Trail (to the left of the reel set).
Each active Multiplier is applied to all Cash & Jackpot Prizes during the Free Spins mode. Each colour X UP token has a separate ability:
- Gold X UP: Applies the current Multiplier to Cash & Jackpot Prizes in the base game.

Above each reel is a separate Collection Spot, designated for Bonus symbols. Each time a Bonus symbol appears in view, if not already filled, it will collect above its respective reel and into the Collection Spot.
When all 5 Collection Spots are filled, the Bass Cash Bonus is awarded. During this bonus, an expanded Fisherman symbol appears on reel 1, while the remaining reels (2-5) will spin in a series of Cash Prizes & Trophy symbols.

It’s certainly a step in the right direction for the series, but is it enough to keep players engaged? On its own? Maybe not, but combined with the Bass Cash Bonus and Free Spins mode, it is.
