Bet the Farm Power Combo Slot Review
Bet the Farm Power Combo is a slot where the animals matter more than the reels. A hen, a beaming pink pig and a spotted cow lean over the plank-and-timber frame, each badged to a feature you spend the whole session collecting towards. The paytable beneath them tops out at 4x. Almost none of the game’s real value lives on those five reels.
The cheerful paint hides a demanding bonus structure from Slingshot Studios: a base game that’s thin by design, and a collect-and-respin round that arrives in three flavours and in any combination of the three at once. It runs on a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, at 96.20% RTP and high volatility, with winnings capped at 10,000x per transaction and stakes from 0.20 to 25.00. Sister titles Links of Ra and Leprechaun Links work the same fields.
Base Game & Features
This is a straightforward five-reel, three-row slot. Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels across 20 fixed paylines, and only the highest combination counts per line. The reels are dressed in farm produce. The animals watching from above aren’t decoration: each carries a badge linking it to the feature collection that drives the whole game.
Three symbol types appear in the base game only and pay nothing themselves: the Connector, Collector and Jackpot symbols. Landing and collecting one or more of them triggers the bonus round, and which types you collected decides which features run inside it.
Wilds substitute for everything except those feature symbols, appear in the base game only, and can form their own winning combinations. The paytable is modest, and it’s honest about that. Values are multiples of the initial bet:
- Doghouse – 1.5x for four, 4x for five
- Tractor/Field – 1.2x for four, 2.5x for five
- Well – 0.5x for three, 1x for four, 2.5x for five
- Barn/Coop and Egg Basket – 0.5x, 1x, 2x for three, four, five
- Pumpkin and Tomato – 0.3x, 0.7x, 1.5x for three, four, five
- Eggplant and Mushroom – 0.2x, 0.5x, 1.2x for three, four, five
Five Doghouses returns four times the stake. That’s the ceiling. With a hit frequency of 27%, roughly one spin in four connects at all, and most of those will be small. The base game isn’t where this slot keeps its promises; it’s where you wait for the animals to do their work.
Bet the Farm Power Combo Link&Win & Bonus Features
Collect Feature symbols in the base game and the Link&Win round begins. The grid expands to five reels by five rows, every symbol swaps out for blanks, and you get three free respins. Any symbol that lands resets the respins to three. The round ends when the respins run out, all 25 positions fill, or the transaction win limit is reached.
It’s the classic hold-and-collect loop, and the reset rule keeps a round breathing for as long as the coins keep coming. The variable part is which features are active. Collect one Feature symbol type and only that feature runs; collect two or all three and they combine. Each combination plays like a different game.
Connector Feature
Cash Coins hold in place while the rest respin, each displaying a random cash value multiplied by the total bet. Completing a horizontal, vertical or corner-to-corner diagonal line of five Cash Coins activates a multiplier on that set. Every additional completed set increments it further, climbing 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 11x, 12x and 15x.
Where two sets complete on the same spin, multipliers apply in a fixed order: rows from the top, then reels from the left, then diagonals from top left.
Collector Feature
Cash Coins and Cash Collect Coins both hold in place. Up to three Cash Collect Coins can land, and each one gathers the sum of every already-landed Cash Coin and Cash Collect Coin into a total cash value. With multiple collectors landing on one spin, they collect in strict row-then-reel order from the top of reel one.
Jackpot Feature
MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND Jackpot Coins can land alongside the Cash Coins. Four Jackpot Coins of one kind must be collected to trigger that jackpot, and each can only trigger once per round. The ladder steps up like this:
- MINI – 15x
- MINOR – 50x
- MAJOR – 500x
- GRAND – 5,000x
The GRAND is the single biggest prize the game offers. Four coins of one denomination inside a three-respin window is a big ask, which is the whole point of it. Where features overlap, the rules are precise: Jackpot Coins never count towards Connector sets, and collectors can’t gather jackpot prizes.
Upsizer Feature
On entry to the round, an Upsizer offer lets you buy a more valuable version of the feature before it begins, with the available options and their calculated costs shown on screen. The trigger result decides what’s for sale. Connector or Collector upgrades were priced at 40x the bet each, with both combined at 120x.
The option may be limited or unavailable at higher stakes or in some regions.
Buy Feature
The star button in the top corner opens the buy menu, which sells immediate entry to the Link&Win round with your choice of active features. Seven combinations are on offer across three price points:
- Collector, Connector or Jackpot alone – 30x bet
- Any two of the three – 70x bet
- All three together – 150x bet
The purchase runs at your current bet, and every configuration carries the same 96.20% RTP as the base game, so buying changes the shape of the round, never the return.
Collection pots survive a bought trigger, unlike a natural one that resets them on return to base game.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
You spend most of a session on the farm feeding three animals, and the farm pays you back rarely and unevenly. That’s the whole deal here, and if the collection loop doesn’t grab you, nothing else will, because the reels themselves have almost nothing to give. The pig, the hen and the cow are the game.
When collectors, connector sets and jackpot coins all land in one round, the sums compound in a way a single feature never manages, and two loaded rounds rarely play out the same. That variety is the one reason to choose it over a straight hold-and-win. The flaw is just as clear: the base game is close to dead air, and a naturally triggered round usually arrives with one feature, not three. The version worth waiting for is also the version you’ll least often see.
It’s a good home for players who love the build and don’t mind paying for the good ending, and a thin one for anyone whose enjoyment lives on the paylines. The fields here reward patience more than they reward spinning.
