Big Bass Raceday Repeat Slot Review
Reel Kingdom’s iconic angler trades the calm waters for roaring crowds as he spends his free time living in the fast lane of Big Bass Raceday Repeat!
When this Fisherman isn’t reeling in the fresh catch of the day, he’s filling out his betting slip with sizable bets on his favourite horse. Reel Kingdom rolls out its third horse-racing chapter with Big Bass Raceday Repeat, but will this visit to the track return a profit?
Blueprint Gaming’s Fishin’ Frenzy series once dominated the pond, but Reel Kingdom’s Big Bass series has since taken the crown. While the original Big Bass Bonanza paved the way with clever mechanics & features, new instalments have begun to blur together. Big Bass Raceday Repeat arrives with promise, but history suggests we should not expect anything too revolutionary…

Base Game & Features
Big Bass Raceday Repeat is a highly volatile video slot with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 fixed pay lines. Paytable symbols connect as winning combinations when 2, 3, 4, or 5 land across adjoining reels, starting from reel 1.
The highest-paying symbol is the Champagne Bucket, followed by the Tacklebox, Beer, Binoculars, and multiple Horse & Jockey symbols. Other symbols include A, K, Q, J, & 10 card suits. Once a win is confirmed, each winning combination awards a fixed payout between 0.2x and 200x your bet.
In addition, the Man Wild appears in the Free Spins mode only, substituting for all symbols except Scatter & Money symbols. Lastly, Scatter symbols appear on all reels in the base game.

Money Symbols
During gameplay, each Horse & Jockey symbol reveals a random Cash Prize between 2x and 5,000x your bet. Please note that the current Cash Prize of all Money symbols can only be won by the Man Wild symbol during Free Spins.
Scatters
Randomly in the base game, whenever 2 Scatter symbols land, one of the following outcomes may occur:
- Scatter symbols move down by one position during a Respin, without leaving the reel area, for a chance to reveal the 3rd Scatter needed to trigger Free Spins
- One or more Scatters can appear in a random position, after the initial spin result

Big Bass Raceday Repeat: Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, awarding 10, 15, & 20 Free Spins, respectively. Before the session begins, 12 Cards appear on screen, where players will pick 1 to reveal one of the following Modifiers:
- More Horses: Additional Money symbols are added to the reels, with a higher chance of bigger values
- Higher Multipliers: Increases the retrigger Multipliers by x4, x6, and x20
- 3 Wilds to Retrigger: Instead of needing 4 Wilds to retrigger, only 3 Wilds are required. Furthermore, the Multipliers given at the time of the retrigger apply from the next spin rather than at the start of the next batch of Free Spins.
- Mega: Activates all of the above Modifiers in the Free Spins mode
During the Free Spins mode, each Wild symbol collects all Cash Prizes in view before being added to the Retrigger Trail. When 4, 8, & 12 Wild symbols are collected, the game awards an additional +10 Free Spins and a Multiplier of x2, x3, and x10, respectively.

Ante Bet & Bonus Buy
Players may purchase any of the following Ante Bet & Bonus Buy options:
- Ante Bet: Offers a higher chance of triggering the Free Spins mode for 1.5x your bet
- Ante Bet 2: Offers a chance to repeat the Free Spins mode once triggered, starting it from the beginning, for 1.6x your bet
- Ante Bet 3: Increases your chance of triggering the Free Spins mode and Repeat feature for 2.5x your bet
- Free Spins: Triggers the standard Free Spins mode with 3 Scatters for 100x your bet
- Free Spins + Repeat: Instant access to the Free Spins mode with a chance to Repeat the session for 160x your bet
- Mega Free Spins: Guaranteed entry into the Free Spins mode with the Mega Modifier active for 1,250x your bet
Big Bass Raceday Repeat has a maximum win capacity of 5,000x your bet. If a single session exceeds this figure, the player returns to the base game with the qualifying amount.

Our Honest Verdict
Big Bass Raceday Repeat arrives with very little surprise, and given how relentless this series has become, another instalment was always inevitable. Instead of feeling excited for a new release, we’re left feeling somewhat tired and defeated by its concept.
The Free Spins mode relies on familiar mechanics seen throughout the Big Bass series, offering only a few minor tweaks to how it plays out. While the theme shifts to the Fisherman enjoying a rare day off, the Horse Racing theme follows the same concept previously found in two earlier instalments.
The added gameplay elements arrive via the Repeat Feature and a handful of Modifiers within the Free Spins mode. While it’s encouraging to see Reel Kingdom push the boat out slightly, the experience still sits too close to the familiar concept. The Modifiers do enhance the overall appeal, allowing for more Money symbols to appear on the reels, but each one is still constrained to Reel Kingdom’s 5,000x max win potential.
All in all, Big Bass Raceday Repeat does little to bring fresh ideas or mechanics to the table, with Reel Kingdom making modest adjustments rather than a significant shift in gameplay, which is what the Big Bass series so desperately needs.
