Base Game & Features
Big Bass Xmas Xtreme is a 5-reel, 3-row Video Slot with 10 pay lines and varying bet sizes. This game is considered a highly volatile slot, offering an overall RTP of 96.07% and a max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Starting with symbol payouts, each spin generates a variety of High and Low-paying symbols, awarding wins between 0.2x and 200x your bet. Wild Fisherman symbols appear in the Free Spins round, substituting for all paytable symbols.
Other symbols include Money and Scatter symbols. Money symbols are assigned individual values between 0.2x and 1,000x your bet. The easiest way to collect their values is in the bonus round, but you can also collect the value of these symbols randomly at the end of a spin in the base game. When this happens, a random multiplier between x1 and x50 is applied to the money values before the total amount is added to your balance.
Scatter Feature

Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins. However, landing 4 or 5 Scatters awards players a special Pick Bonus, where +1 and +2 Modifiers are revealed respectively.
Before the round begins, you will enter the Pick Bonus, which reveals a number of starting Modifiers. Continue to pick items until a Boot symbol is revealed, which begins the Free Spins round immediately.

Fisherman Wild Collection

Randomly, when a Fisherman Wild symbol lands on the reels without any money symbols, money symbols are added to the reels in random positions. Likewise, when money symbols land on the reels without any fisherman wild symbols, a hook appears, pulling random reels up to bring fisherman wild symbols into view.
It’s also possible for a Waterfall animation to occur when fisherman wild symbols appear on the reels without any money symbols, which can randomly change all symbols on the reels into something else. And last, but not least, a hook can randomly appear at the end of a free spin, which will pull up the reels to drag a fisherman wild symbol and money symbol onto the screen.
Our Verdict
The beauty of the Big Bass series is that they are unique in their own way, whilst sticking to a lot of the same characteristics. Realistically, the same can be said for any slot series for that matter. Using the reliable and familiar characteristics of the original Big Bass Bonanza makes sense given its huge success.
The Christmas theme and chilly design sets the game apart from previous titles of the series. This is most obvious in Big Bass Xmas Xtreme’s lucrative Free Spins round, which offers significant gameplay changes.
