Blazing Stones

Blazing Stones Slot Review

Molten rock glows beneath the reels, a faceted red crystal burns on the left with an x8 scorched across its face, and a gold cabinet stamped with the numerals 4, 2, 1, 3 and 5 stands around it like a vault door. That’s Blazing Stones, a SYNOT Games release, and its central trick is charging for its five bonus features in the most expensive currency a slot has: time. There’s no buy button. Everything must be collected, gem by gem, on a five-line fruit frame that wouldn’t look out of place in a bookmaker’s shop.

It runs at 95.92% RTP across five fixed paylines, with stakes from 0.10 to 200 and a maximum win of 1,000x the bet. That ceiling is modest for a game carrying five bonus features. The question is whether the collect grind earns it.

Base Game & Features

Five fixed paylines is the whole structure. There are no ways-to-win mechanics or expanding grids: a line pays left to right, and only the highest combination per line counts. It’s a configuration that rewards nothing but patience, and wins land often enough to keep the meter ticking without ever promising much between features.

The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except scatters, and only five Wilds on a payline make a winning combination of their own.

The real engine of the game is the scatter collect system. Each of the five reels carries its own progress bar, marked on the gold cabinet frame, and each bar is fed by gemstone scatters of its own colour. Collect five of a colour and that bar’s feature triggers.

The gemstones make it easy to track. It’s obvious at a glance which bar is filling and which is one gem short.

• Green scatters on reel one feed the Hold N Respin Feature
• Orange scatters on reel two feed the Win Respins Feature
• Purple scatters on reel three feed the Mystery Feature
• Blue scatters on reel four feed the Wild Respins Feature
• Red scatters on reel five feed the Multiplier Respins Feature

The bars fill at roughly even rates. One bar will often stall on four of five while the others catch up, so the features arrive in clusters rather than one dominating. The gaps between triggers can be lengthy, and there’s very little happening in the base game to bridge them beyond the collect metres themselves.

Each collected scatter carries a value, and that value matters. The purple scatter always shows the highest value in its acquired range, representing the maximum possible payout from the Mystery Feature.

The same values scale the other features too: more respins, bigger multipliers, more Wilds. Collecting any five gems triggers the feature; the quality of what you collected decides how good it is.

Blazing Stones Bonus Features

Hold N Respin Feature

Collect five green scatters on the first reel and the game moves to a different set of reels for a hold-and-win round. It starts with three respins, with up to five scatter symbols randomly distributed and stuck in place for the whole feature. Every new scatter that lands resets the respin count to three.

• New scatters reset the respin count to three
• The feature ends if a respin lands no new scatter
• It also ends when all 15 positions are filled
• The win is paid on the final count of stuck scatters only
• This is the only feature through which the 1,000x maximum win can be achieved

Filling all 15 positions is the dream scenario, because the payout scales with the final scatter count. Because the win is evaluated only at the end, a round that dies on the fourth respin pays strictly for what stuck, not for what landed along the way.

Win Respins Feature

Five orange scatters on the second reel award up to five respins, scaled by the value of the scatters collected. Every spin in this round wins. It can’t be retriggered, and it plays at the same bet as the activating round.

The guaranteed-win structure is worth being clear-eyed about. Every spin pays something, but nothing in the round promises a large something. Five lines with five winners can still total a modest multiple of the stake, so the collected scatter value does the heavy lifting.

Mystery Feature

Five purple scatters on the third reel award a mystery payout, drawn from a range set by the collected scatter values and paid immediately on trigger. The purple scatter always displays the top of its range, so the number shown on the gem is the ceiling of what the payout can be.

Wild Respins Feature

Five blue scatters on the fourth reel place up to five Wild symbols randomly on the reels, scaled by the collected value, then respin. The Wilds stay fixed, and the respins continue until a winning combination lands. It plays at the activating bet.

Placement matters as much as count here. Five Wilds clustered on adjacent reels give the lines far more to work with than the same five scattered wide, so two identical-looking triggers can pay very differently.

Multiplier Respins Feature

Five red scatters on the fifth reel respin the reels until a win lands, then multiply it according to the collected scatter value. Same bet as the activating round. The win is guaranteed; the multiplier is the prize.

• x2 multiplier for the lowest collected scatter value
• x4 multiplier
• x6 multiplier
• x8 multiplier
• x10 multiplier for the highest collected scatter value

Gamble Feature

Any win up to a set limit can be gambled on a card draw. Guess the colour of the next card and the win doubles; get it wrong and it’s gone. A HALVE option credits half the win to your balance and gambles only the rest.

• A Joker substitutes for any colour
• Up to 10 gambles are allowed per feature
• The gamble isn’t available during collect features
• HALVE banks half the win and gambles the remainder

Our Honest Verdict

This is a game of long, warm waits. You sit in the glow of that cavern, watching five bars creep towards full, and the reason you’d choose it over faster fruit slots is the build itself: the moment the bars start completing and features land in a rush. Nothing else in this format paces quite like it.

What SYNOT got right is that every feature scales with what you collected, so the grind isn’t just a delay before identical rounds. A gem-heavy bar pays better than a scraped-together one, and you can see the difference coming. That’s real design, not padding.

What they got wrong is the prize for all that patience. 1,000x is a thin ceiling for a game built entirely around waiting, and only one of the five features can even reach it. Anyone after big potential or a classic free spins round will find neither. It suits a very specific breed: the unhurried player who wants a land-machine feel with a collect layer underneath, happy to let the coals smoulder before anything catches.

Blazing Stones FAQs

• What is the RTP of Blazing Stones?

Blazing Stones runs at 95.92% RTP.
• How volatile is Blazing Stones?

It plays as a medium-volatility game. Win spins come reasonably often on the five paylines, but the gaps between feature triggers can be lengthy.
• How do you trigger the bonus features in Blazing Stones?

Each reel has a coloured progress bar fed by its own gemstone scatters. Collect five scatters of one colour and that bar’s feature triggers: green for Hold N Respin, orange for Win Respins, purple for Mystery, blue for Wild Respins and red for Multiplier Respins.
• What is the maximum win in Blazing Stones?

The maximum win is 1,000x your bet, and it can only be achieved through the Hold N Respin feature. The other four features cannot reach that ceiling.
• Can you buy the bonus features in Blazing Stones?

No. There is no bonus buy option; all five features are triggered naturally by collecting the coloured scatter symbols on their respective reels.
• Can the features in Blazing Stones be retriggered?

The Win Respins feature cannot be retriggered. During the Hold N Respin feature, each new scatter that lands resets the respin count to three, so that round extends itself until the reels fill or respins expire.
• What does the HALVE option do in the Gamble Feature?

The HALVE option credits half of your win to your balance immediately and gambles only the remaining half on the next card, letting you part-bank before taking further risk. A Joker card substitutes for any colour, and up to 10 gambles are allowed per feature.
• How many respins does the Win Respins feature award, and does every spin win?

It awards up to five respins, depending on the value of the orange scatters you collected. Every spin in the round is guaranteed a win, though the size of those wins depends on the symbols that land and any Wilds among them. The round plays at the same bet as the spin that triggered it.
