Buffalo King Megaways is not quite the definition of ‘innovation’ by any means, but it does have its ‘wow’ moments thanks to the Megaways mechanic, especially when 200,704 ways to win are on the cards.

For a sequel slot, it’s not the most impressive one we’ve encountered. The base game is a pretty standard Megaways slot, except for its increased ways to win. In terms of base game features, Pragmatic Play missed an opportunity to create something truly inspiring – at this point, even Mystery symbols would have been a bonus.

While the base game is relatively bland, the Free Spins mode has a little more to offer. The addition of Avalanche Multipliers is something we’ve familiarised ourselves with in another of Pragmatic Play’s titles, Gates of Olympus.
