Few Westerns make it big, but Hacksaw Gaming seem to be on to winners with their offerings. This time, the plot develops with a female bounty hunter who seems all too familiar with the unforgiving nature of the frontier, and what she needs to do to survive it. She’s no femme fatale – she doesn’t rely on beauty or charm, but rather a trusty revolver and eagle-eyed precision.

Base Game & Features
Bullets and Bounty is a traditional 5-reel video slot with 19 pay lines and 5 rows per reel. Wins of 3 or more symbols award payouts between 0.2x and 10x your bet, on adjacent reels from left to right.
The high-paying symbols in Bullets and Bounty are the sheriff’s badge, hat, pistols, animal skull, and wagon wheel. Low-paying symbols are Spades, Hearts, Clubs, and Diamonds.
Special symbols include Wilds and Scatters. Wild symbols substitute for all paytable symbols and FS Scatters award either True Grit, Four Shots to Freedom, or Go Ahead, Make Her Day bonus modes.

DuelReels
VS and Bounty VS symbols may appear during the base game and either of the 3 bonus modes. Both symbols transform into an expanded DuelReel once in view. Fully expanded DuelReels act as Wilds, substituting for all symbols upon expansion.
DuelReels cover the entire reel, triggering a duel between two characters, each revealing a Multiplier between 2x and 100x your bet. After expansion, the DuelReel is considered an Outlaw. The multiplier from the surviving character is applied to the entire reel and all winning combinations that pass through it.
If more than 1 Outlaw is part of the same win, their multipliers combine before being applied to the total win for that spin. When a Bounty VS symbol expands, a duel between a bounty hunter and an outlaw occurs.
If the Bounty Hunter wins, it collects the multiplier from the Outlaw and applies it to the existing value, triggering another Duel with the same bounty hunter. In this duel, the current bounty hunter will display its combined value from the previous duel. This continues for 3 duels or until the bounty hunter loses.
Bullets and Bounty Free Spins
FS Scatters are responsible for triggering 1 of 3 bonus modes. The first on the cards is True Grit, which requires 3 FS Scatters to land in the base game to activate. This round offers 10 Free Spins, which players can gamble.
In the gamble, a Revolver with 1 of 6 outcomes appears:
- Outcomes 1-2 will award the Four Shots to Freedom bonus mode
- Outcomes 3-4 award an instant prize of 5x your bet
- Outcome 5 awards an immediate 10x your bet prize

Our Honest Verdict
Bullets and Bounty is a standout title from Hacksaw Gaming, in our opinion.
The way in which the Bounty VS Symbols have furthered the game can’t be understated. Its ability to bolster multipliers (if she wins her duel) puts you on the edge of your seat. It’s almost as if you’re looking from the window upon a dusty road, waiting tensely for the next gunfight to erupt. It’s a subtle change to the status quo, and we’re being dramatic, of course, but it is a rather exciting slot.
It has the trademarks of a Hackaw classic with a capable base game, a decent bonus round, a better ‘super bonus’ and an alluring yet elusive ‘hidden’ bonus round that can’t be bought, but is so sorely desired. It’s in these higher-tier bonus rounds that Bullets and Bounty shows its stuff, and would reveal its significant and impressive 20,000x win cap to the right gunslinger, with a touch of luck.
What else can we say but bravo to Hacksaw Gaming? Bullets and Bounty will surely make its presence known, and we can think of few other Wild West Slots that deserve a spin.
