Cash Flip Medusa Gold Slot Review
Perseus never looked Medusa in the face. He tracked her by reflection in a polished shield and took her head off blind, which is the only reason the myth ends with a hero rather than another statue.
Caution doesn’t pay here. In Cash Flip Medusa Gold, the gorgon hands out money rather than marble, and Snowborn Games have built everything worth having around getting her to show up.
The specs are steady rather than showy: a 5×3 grid, 20 paylines, medium volatility and a 96% RTP, with stakes running from 0.20 to 60 a spin. The top prize is 5,000x.
Snowborn have been round the Greek block before with Masters of Olympus, so the setting isn’t new ground for them.
Coin collection and a jackpot ladder aren’t either. Both turn up in Massive Gold Power Staxx, and Volcanic Fortune works the same collect-and-hold territory.
Base Game & Features
The reels run five wide and three high, with 20 paylines stated in the paytable. Symbol ranks are conventional: card values at the bottom, Greek props in the middle, and the Snake sharing top billing with the Wild.
As multiples of your stake, for three, four and five of a kind:
- Wild or Snake: 2.5x, 5x, 10x
- Helmet, Goblet, Ring or Column: 0.3x, 0.6x, 2.6x
- A: 0.2x, 0.4x, 1x
- K: 0.2x, 0.3x, 0.8x
- Q: 0.1x, 0.2x, 0.6x
- J: 0.1x, 0.2x, 0.5x
Wilds appear in the base game only, and they substitute for every base-game symbol except the orbs. They also pay in their own right, matching the Snake at 10x the stake for five across a line.

Orbs and Feature Triggers
Landing an Orb one on any reel can randomly trigger the Medusa Bonus, with the orb transforming and firing upward to the matching bonus symbol above the reels.
A Green Bonus symbol in the base game awards the Combo Bonus instead, which fires a combination of two to six random cash features.
There’s also Medusa Magic, a random feature that can award the Medusa Bonus trigger with one or more random cash features attached, the Combo Bonus trigger, a big win, or simply a better base-game result.
Cash Flip Medusa Gold Bonus Features
The Medusa Bonus is a hold-and-win round. It opens with three bonus spins and three cash coins already on the grid, and every new symbol that lands resets the counter back to three.
The round ends when the spins run out or nothing new lands. Bonus symbols during the round match the type that triggered it, with Double Reels and Extra Spins the two exceptions.
A trigger can arrive with anything from one to six cash features attached, or with the Combo Bonus instead. There’s no bonus buy, so orbs are the only route in.

The Six Cash Features
Six cash features can be activated, and four of them (Payer, Multiplier, Collector and Sticky Booster) can reactivate during the round rather than firing once and retiring.
- Multiplier (Aqua): one to five other coins are selected and multiplied by 2x, 3x or 5x, and the triggering symbol then turns into a random-value cash coin.
- Collector (Blue): three to seven random coins are collected, with their values added to the Blue Coin symbol.
- Sticky Booster (Purple): the Purple Bonus symbol becomes a Purple Coin worth 0.2x to 5x the stake, and every newly landed cash coin is increased once by that value until the round ends.
- Extra Spins: the round starts on four spins instead of three, and the counter resets to four.
- Double Reels: the round runs across two 3×5 areas, each with its own spin counter.
- Payer: the sixth of the set, alongside the five above.
Coin Values and Jackpots
Coins carry either a cash prize worth 0.2x to 5x your stake or one of the jackpots. The ladder runs Mini at 10x, Minor at 20x and Major at 75x.
The Grand Jackpot pays 150x and needs the grid filled completely with symbols. Under Double Reels the requirement changes shape: fill one column on each of the five reels across the two areas, in either order and in either area.
Mega Jackpot
The Mega Jackpot is the 5,000x top prize, and it’s paid for collecting five Diamond symbols inside the Medusa Bonus. Nothing else in the game reaches anywhere near it.
Hot Cells
Hot Cells can appear anywhere on the reel area during any bonus spin, giving a higher chance of landing any of the symbols available in the Medusa Bonus.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.3/10
Cash Flip Medusa Gold is a hold-and-win game wearing a Greek myth costume, and the split between its halves is stark. The base game is card ranks, a few Greek props and a wild that can’t touch the orbs. Everything worth waiting for sits inside the Medusa Bonus.
The bonus earns that billing. Six cash features, four of them able to fire again once they’ve landed, and a counter that keeps resetting for as long as fresh coins keep arriving. Double Reels is the pick of them, doubling both the board and the routes into the Grand Jackpot.
A 5,000x top prize is a fair reward for a game tuned this steadily. Getting there needs five Diamonds collected inside one round, and that’s a tall order.
Anyone chasing six-figure multipliers is in the wrong temple. This one’s for players who like coin-collection rounds and calmer maths, and it’ll frustrate anyone who wants a base game to carry its own weight.
Look Medusa in the eye here and she’ll fill the grid with gold. Look away and it’s a 20-line slot staring back.
