Cosmic Rush Hyper Hitz Slot Review
Most slots give you a scatter and a bonus round; Cosmic Rush Hyper Hitz gives you five different ways to reach one, and pays the rest of its prizes into the same tower. That’s the whole design: a gold cabinet floating in a violet starfield, rocket canisters glowing green and orange at its base, and almost every payout – base game or bonus – climbing the same lightning-shot Hyper Hitz Tower set into the logo.
It’s a Four Leaf Gaming build, sitting alongside Clover Fortunes, Wild Buccaneers Megaways and Temple Rush Dream Drop in their catalogue. It runs on a 5×4 grid with all 20 paylines in play on every spin, at 96.09% RTP. Few of their games pack this many random modifiers into a base spin, and fewer still let you buy your way past them.
Base Game & Features
The paytable is classic fruit-machine material dressed in neon-chrome: 7s of three denominations, horseshoes, bells, BARs and cherries. All 20 lines are played on every spin, and only the highest win on each line counts. There’s no choosing your active lines; the bet you set covers everything.
- 777 (red): 3x for three, 25x for four, 50x for five
- 77 (double): 2x for three, 7x for four, 15x for five
- 7 (single, blue): 2x for three, 5x for four, 10x for five
- 7 (single, red) and Horseshoe: 0.6x for three, 1.4x for four, 3x for five
- Bell: 0.4x for three, 1.2x for four, 2x for five
- BAR and Cherries: 0.2x for three, 0.6x for four, 1.2x for five
Wilds substitute for the paying symbols and can randomly set off the Power Spin Bonus on any appearance, which makes them worth more than their substitution value alone.
Random Modifiers
Three modifiers can land in the base game without warning. Cash Pop drops extra Hyper Hitz symbols onto the reels, each carrying a prize. Wild Pop adds more wilds, which either produces a line win or another shot at the Power Spin Bonus.
The Respin Bonus is the kindest of the three. If a losing spin lands two star scatters on reels 2 and 3, reels 1, 2, 3 and 5 lock in place and reel 4 respins once. It’s a free attempt at the third scatter that triggers a bonus.
Power Spin Bonus
Triggered at random by wild symbols, the Power Spin Bonus awards a cash prize from 5x up to 4,000x your bet, or one of the three main bonuses: Star Surge, Tower Boost or Cosmic Rush. It’s a simple spin of fortune that can skip you straight past the scatter-hunting entirely.
Hyper Hitz
Land three or more Hyper Hitz symbols anywhere on the reels and you win the prize shown on the Hyper Hitz Tower. Cash Hyper Hitz symbols pay on top of that value:
- Hyper Hitz symbols carry cash values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 25x, 100x or 250x total bet
- Values stack on top of whatever the Hyper Hitz Tower is showing
- Three or more symbols trigger the payout; they don’t need to sit on a payline
Collecting towards the space capsule can also set off the Cosmic Rush Bonus at random, and the Cosmic Rush symbol itself collects to both the capsule and the tower.
Cosmic Rush Hyper Hitz Bonuses
The main event is a single Lock and Spin engine wearing three different coats. Land two Star symbols plus a Bonus Star symbol and you win whichever bonus the trigger shows: Star Surge, Tower Boost or Cosmic Rush. All three run on the same skeleton, with different special symbols stacked on top.
Lock and Spin Bonus
You land Cash Vortex symbols to build a cash prize, and filling a reel with them collects that reel. The Collect box on the Hyper Hitz Bonus Tower tracks how many reels you need to advance to the next tower level. Your final total is the cash prize plus the tower prize.
Staying alive is the whole game. The Heart Meter starts at three lives; every losing spin removes one, and every winning spin resets it to three. The bonus runs until the lives run out or the top prize is reached.
Star Surge Bonus
Star Surge adds a Collector and an Exploder to the reels. The Collector picks up one to three values from Cash Vortex symbols and adds them to itself. The Exploder detonates and drops an extra one to three Cash Vortex symbols onto the reels, feeding the reel-fill requirement.
Tower Boost Bonus
Tower Boost works the tower instead of the reels. The Amplifier symbol raises the values available on the Hyper Hitz Tower by 5x to 250x your current bet. The Destructor symbol cuts the number of reels you need to collect by one, fast-tracking the climb.
Cosmic Rush Bonus
The Cosmic Rush Bonus is the full-fat version: all four special symbols and the Cash Vortex symbol are present, with everything active at once. Collectors gather, Exploders scatter, Amplifiers inflate the tower and Destructors shorten the road. It’s the round the other two are rehearsals for.
Fortune Features
Two paid enhancements sit beside the spin button. Bonus Hunter costs 1.5x your bet and greatly increases the chance of triggering a bonus. Hyper Hitz Charge costs 1.6x your bet, raises every prize tower value and lifts the top prize to 8,000x.
That 8,000x figure only applies with the charge active. The game itself publishes no overall maximum win, so the charged top prize is the closest thing to a ceiling it offers.
Bonus Buy
If waiting isn’t your style, there are two direct routes in. The standard Buy Bonus costs 80x your bet and awards a mystery bonus from Star Surge, Tower Boost or Cosmic Rush. The Buy Super Bonus costs 150x your bet and guarantees the Lock and Spin Bonus with every feature switched on.
- Buy Bonus: 80x bet, random bonus from the three
- Buy Super Bonus: 150x bet, Lock and Spin with all features active
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.7/10
This is a waiting game with a generous streak. You drift through the starfield collecting odd prizes while five different routes quietly nudge you towards the same bonus, and the reason you’d pick it over a plainer five-reeler is that the Lock and Spin round is genuinely worth reaching – the Heart Meter keeps a hot streak alive, so one good round can run and run while the tower climbs above it.
The flaw is the round itself coming in three strengths. Star Surge and Tower Boost each bring one special symbol to a fight the Cosmic Rush version shows up to with all four, and the difference in how they pay is exactly what you’d expect from that. Paying 80x for a mystery version when 150x guarantees the full set is a poor second route in.
It’s a game for players who enjoy the build – filling reels, banking tower levels, stretching three lives as far as they’ll go. Anyone chasing quick hits between big moments will find the gaps between bonuses long. But the cabinet glows and the tower is real: for the patient, it’s a climb worth making.
