Base Game & Features
Culinary Clash is a highly volatile 7-reel, 7-row Video Slot, operating a Cluster Pays mechanic. Other important attributes include an overall RTP of 96.29% and a generous max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Wins occur when 5-36 matching symbols land horizontally or vertically adjacent across the grid. The junk food icons make up the game’s high-paying symbols, whilst 4 fruit and veg symbols create low-paying symbols.
Depending on the winning symbol, payouts between 0.1x and 500x your bet are applied.
Due to the nature of the Cluster Pays mechanic, each winning cluster is subject to removal via an Avalanche Feature. This enables new symbols to drop in from above to create or enhance additional wins within a single spin.
Multiplier Symbols
In the base game, after a cluster win, a matching symbol with an active Multiplier is added to an empty position on the grid.
Multiplier symbols equal the value of symbols that participated in the win, while only the highest-paying symbols can result in a Multiplier.
When a Multiplier symbol is part of a winning cluster, its total value is applied to the win. If more than 1 multiplier symbol is part of the same win, only 1 additional multiplier symbol will appear within an empty position.
The value of the new multiplier symbol equals the total value of all Multiplier symbols in the win, plus an additional +x1 for each symbol without an active multiplier.
All symbols with an active Multiplier are persistent for each Avalanche sequence but will be removed at the start of a new spin.
If a Wild symbol is part of a winning cluster, it will continue as a regular wild, adding +x1 to the new Multiplier symbol.
Please note that Multiplier symbols can also drop during a random spin, with a possible value of x5, x10, x15, x20, or x25.
Tomato
Tomato symbols act as Wilds, replacing all paytable symbols. When a Tomato symbol hits, it will transform a selected Low-paying symbol into regular Wilds.
When 2 or more Tomato symbols hit, they will transform different Low-paying symbols into Wilds.

Our Honest Verdict
Food is an important part of our daily routine, whether it be a balanced diet of healthy fruit and veg or a daily gut-buster of junk food. Either way, the iGaming industry is choc-full of food-infused slots, including Hot Potato, Tasty Treats, and Burgers, to name a few.
Naturally, software providers sway towards unhealthy alternatives, particularly sweets and fast food, but Bullshark Games has pitted our 5-a-day against guilty pleasures in Culinary Clash. Which will come out on top of the food chain?
First impressions of the design and layout are good, scoring bonus points for the 7×7 format and Cluster Pays mechanic. You’re greeted by a rather dashing Tomato and Burger Queen character on either side of the grid, engaging players in the food rivalry theme whilst keeping it light-hearted and fun.
Each spin in the base game is uniquely interesting thanks to the Multiplier Symbol and Tomato Features. After each cluster win involving high-paying symbols, a Multiplier is generated, equal to the number of winning symbols.
The fact that only high-paying (junk food) symbols can receive Multipliers makes us believe that junk food has won the battle. That is, until the Tomato Wild works his magic on the grid, transforming a number of low-paying symbols into Wilds.
Accessing both Free Spins modes requires between 3 and 5 Scatters to land in the base game. For Wild Feast, you can land 3 or 4 Scatters to receive 8 and 10 Free Spins, however, Kitchen Chaos requires a little more patience and consistency. Both rounds follow the same mannerisms of gameplay from the base game, with engaging twists that make them unique.
