Let’s put on our gloves and pull down our ski masks, we’ve got a bank job to do!
Diamond Heist: Hold & Win Theme
When a slot game has the word ‘heist’ in it we know we are going to be up to no good, and thats exactly the case here.
The backdrop is set outside a bank at night, with nothing but helicopter spotlights to shed some light on our current situation. iSoftBet has definitely thought this one through, who in their right mind plans a robbery in broad daylight right?
The music playing throughout is catchy yet a little mysterious, leaving us on the edge of our seats the entire time. Sound effects are pretty good too, alarm bells, the kaching of money and the disapointment and excitement from the robber can all be heard which fits nicely with the overall theme.
iSoftBet has certainly hit the nail on head in terms of the overall theme, including every spec of detail you would hope to see when trying to pull off the ultimate heist, a job well done indeed!

Special symbols fall to the Bonus, Detonator and Diamond symbols.

Diamond Heist: Hold & Win Base Game and Features
Diamond Heist: Hold & Win is a 5 reel slot with 20 fixed paylines. To form a win you will need to land 3 or more of the same symbols from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.
The base game in Diamond Heist: Hold & Win would fall quite short in terms of excitement, luckily for us iSoftBet has thrown in an exciting feature or three to keep our interests peaked!
Heist Mode
Although it looks like Diamond Heist: Hold & Win has a 6th reel, this is actually dedicated to the Heist Mode Feature.
Landing 3 or more Detonator symbols will trigger 20 Heist Free Spins, where Diamond symbols are added to the reels. During the Heist Mode Feature, landing 5 or more Diamonds on the reels will trigger Diamond Heist Respins.
If you fail to land the 5 Diamonds needed to trigger the Diamond Heist Respins during Heist Mode, the heist is over and normal gameplay will resume.
All remaining heist spins will be lost if you happen to trigger the Diamond Heist Respins Feature.
Diamond Heist Respins
To trigger the Diamond Heist Respins Feature, you will need to land 5 or more Diamonds during Heist Mode Spins to be awarded 3 Respins.
The Diamonds that triggered this feature will remain in place and all other spaces will be empty, any additional Diamonds that land in the empty spaces will also remain in place and the Respins will reset back to 3.
Special Diamonds and Symbols are present during Diamond Heist Repsins, landing a key symbol will unlock the next row of vaults and reset the Respins. Any Alarm symbols that land will remain in place and block that position, landing 3 Alarm symbols will end the Respins feature.
Certain Diamonds have a special value attatched to them which further adds to the potential of Diamond Heist Respins:
- Mega Diamond – Awards 500x your bet
- Major Diamond – Awards 250x your bet
- Mini Diamond – Awards 100x your bet
Once all Respins are complete, normal gameplay will resume.
Random Modifiers
During the base game on any random spin, 1 of 3 Random Modifiers can be triggered.
- Random Wilds – Between 3 and 6 random wilds can be added to any of the reels.
- Mystery Symbols – Between 5 and 10 symbols will be transformed into the same symbol.
- Multiplier Win – A random win multiplier of 2x, 5x or 10x will be applied to the next winning spin.
Diamond Heist: Hold & Win Free Spins
Diamond Heist: Hold & Win gives players a chance to grab some Free Spins. Landing 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols awards 8, 10 and 12 Free Spins respectively.
During Free Spins, the win Multiplier situated at the end of the reels will increase by +1 each time on every spin and the multiplier will be applied to the next Free Spins win.
Landing 2, 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols awards you an additional 3, 5, 10 and 12 Free Spins.
Diamond Heist: Hold & Win Our Verdict
Diamond Heist Hold & Win doesn’t exactly strike us as one of iSoftBet’s ‘S’ tier slots, but it’s an enjoyable experience nonetheless. We’ve seen plenty of slots in our time that capatalise on a bank robber theme, and we feel like Diamond Heiest: Hold & Win pulls it off better than most with its comedic spin on this criminal design.
Diamond Heist Hold & Win definitely has plenty of action with its random modifiers, Heist mode, Heist Respins and Free Spins, so boredom definitely shouldn’t be a problem when you’re playing this game. In terms of potential, Diamond Heist Hold and Win looks pretty impressive with a 4,684x maximum win potential, and although it’s a lot lower than a lot of other slots out at the moment, it’s definitely nothing to scoff at.
Overall, Diamond Heist: Hold & Win and its charm provided us with a fair bit of entertainment when we were testing it, but we don’t feel like it has that much longevity overall.
