Divine Drop Slot Review 2024
Mount Olympus is our destination in Hacksaw Gaming‘s latest slot, Divine Drop. Zeus and Greek Mythology has become a popular motif in the world of slots, with many incorporating his divine image to enhance the attractiveness of their games. You’d think you can’t steer wrong if you’re using the mighty Zeus as your figurehead, yet even a god himself can’t save an underwhelming game or its players from boredom.
Hacksaw Gaming is known for their engaging features as proven by their deserved popularity. Can Hacksaw Gaming do the gods justice? Divine Drop may not look as iconic as others in the Hacksaw portfolio, but it’s bound to have that signature touch.
Divine Drop – Slot Symbols and Paylines
Divine Drop is a 5-reel, 4-row Video Slot, playable from £.€0.10 per spin, up to a max bet size of £.€100 per spin. In between the minimum and maximum bet sizes are many alternative betting options, simply toggle through until you find one that works for you.
Divine Drop has 5 High and Low-paying symbols available, with the highest-paying producing wins of up to 10x your bet for a full 5-line win. Low-paying symbols are standard A, K, Q, J, and 10, each awarding 0.1, 0.5x, and 1x your bet for a 3, 4, and 5-line winning combination.
Wins are created when 3-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Win are formed across 14 active pay lines, in a Horizontal and Diagonal line sequence.
Divine Drop RTP, Volatility, & Max Win – Hot or Not?
Divine Drop has a theoretical RTP of 96.25%, a Medium Volatility rating, and a hit rate of 28.11%. Hacksaw Gaming has also included alternative RTP options; 94.34%, 92.34%, and 88.29%. Be sure to check with your chosen Casino which RTP option is available.
The medium volatility level means smaller wins occur more frequently with the occasional big win here and there. When bigger wins hit, they tend to be of the smaller variety, yet they occur more often than a slot with high volatility. In addition, Divine Drop has a max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Divine Drop Special Features
Divine Drop opens a window to Wild Multipliers, Aphrodite’s Love, and Zeus’s Thunder features, as well as a variety of Bonus Buy options.
Wild Multipliers
Wild Multipliers substitute for all other symbols except FS Scatters, appearing with a random Multiplier value between x2 and x200. If a Wild Multiplier is part of a win, its multiplier value is applied to the win. If multiple Wild Multipliers are part of a win, their values are added together and applied to the win.
Wild Multipliers may land with up to 3 Vitality Points, revealed on the symbol as Red Hearts. When a Wild Multiplier has vitality remaining, it will remain sticky on the reels, triggering Respins. For each Respin, 1 Vitality point is removed from each Wild Multiplier on the reels. When a Wild Multiplier reaches 0, it is removed from play.
During Respins, either Spins rounds can be triggered by collecting FS Scatters. FS Scatters will be collected in a special Bonus Meter above the reels. If there are 1-2 Scatters in view, they will only be collected if there are one or more Wild Multipliers with at least 1 Vitality in view. Once the Bonus Meter reaches 3 or 4 Scatters, it will trigger the corresponding Free Spins round.
Aphrodite’s Love
When an Aphrodite’s Heart drops into view, it will trigger the Aphrodite’s Love feature. Once in view, it will restore 1-3 Vitality to all Wild Multipliers currently in view.
Zeus’s Thunder
When an X symbol lands into view, it will trigger the Zeus’s Thunder feature. Once active, a bolt of lightning is called down, doubling the multiplier value of all Wild Multipliers currently in view.

Conclusion
Divine Drop is a pleasant slot with a big personality (almost as big as Zeus’s arms and legs) that shares certain similarities to Rusty & Curly’s style of gameplay. Hacksaw Gaming is the only provider we know that continues to equip their games with Multipliers, yet they haven’t run out of ideas on how to portray them…yet.
Like the majority of Hacksaw Gaming titles, Divine Drop draws you in with its 2 Free Spins rounds. More often than not, the second Free Spins round trumps the first in some way or another, yet it comes at an extra cost of 4 Scatters instead of the standard 3.
Both Free Spins rounds have an increased chance of landing Wild Multipliers, yet the Triple Tricks of Hades round grants each Wild Multiplier a minimum value of x3 when they hit. Wild Multipliers combined with Zeus’s Thunder and Aphrodite’s Love is the perfect recipe to reach the max win cap of 10,000x.
All in all, Divine Drop is another solid title from Hacksaw Gaming that impresses us with its multiple features, yet it doesn’t have many differing characteristics from other Hacksaw titles.
