Set in the grandeur of ancient Greece, Eternal Dawn is a highly rewarding 5×4 Video Slot offering 30 fixed pay lines and a max win capability of 6,000x your bet. Each spin brings you closer to divine riches during Free Spins, where a powerful Wild shifts to new positions – the more Wild symbols you collect, the greater the reward!
Following in the footsteps of Eternal Dusk, this game utilises a special Wild Drop Feature, triggering Wilds, with the potential of Multipliers, in random reel positions. Will Apollo’s light shine bright on us as we spin the reels in search of big wins? Let’s play on and find out!

Base Game & Features
Eternal Dawn is a 5-reel, 4-row Video Slot offering 30 fixed pay lines and a variety of bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€60 per spin. This game is classified as a Mid-High Volatility slot with an overall RTP of 96.08% and an average max win cap of 6,000x your bet.
Wins consist of 3-5 matching symbols that land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. There are 9 High and Low-paying symbols available, each producing payouts between 0.4x and 20x your bet. In addition, regular Wilds and Golden Roaming Wilds substitute for all paytable symbols when part of a winning sequence.
Wild Drop
During any spin in the base game, the Wild Drop Feature can randomly trigger. Once active, it will add 3-5 Wild symbols with active Multipliers to random reel positions. Each generated Wild from this feature will always appear once per reel, starting from reel 1.
The Wilds created through the Wild Drop feature will appear with an active Multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, or x10. When part of a win, the Multiplier(s) is applied to the total value of the winning sequence. If 2 or more Wild Multipliers are part of the same win, their values are added together and applied.
Xtra Bet & Bonus Buy
- Xtra Bet: Each spin is 3 times more likely to trigger Free Spins (1.5x your bet)
- Wild Drop: Instantly triggers the Wild Drop Feature (40x your bet)
- Free Spins: Guarantees entry into the Free Spins round (100x your bet)
- Super Free Spins: Guarantees entry into the Super Free Spins round (400x your bet)
Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Bonus Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, awarding 5 Free Spins and a Bonus Collection of 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols respectively.
This round introduces Golden Roaming Wilds which move to a new position before the next spin. Regular Wild symbols that land will automatically become Golden Roaming Wilds, but they do not carry Multipliers.
The active Multiplier Meter keeps track of your progression through the Free Spins stages. Each stage is activated by collecting a specific number of Bonus Scatters which award the following:
- Stage 2: Collect 6 Scatters to receive +5 Free Spins and a Multiplier of x2
- Stage 3: Collect 9 Scatters to receive +5 Free Spins and a Multiplier of x3
- Stage 4: Collect 13 Scatters to receive +5 Free Spins and a Multiplier of x4
- Stage 5: Collect 17 Scatters to receive +5 Free Spins and a Multiplier of x10
Alternatively, landing 3 or more Bonus Scatters naturally in Free Spins will award +5 Free Spins at the current Multiplier Meter stage. Each Free Spins mode begins with an unfilled Golden Roaming Wild, starting at x1. When a stage is completed, the unfilled Golden Roaming Wild will collect all roaming wilds in view, increasing the Multiplier by +x1.
Super Free Spins
Landing 2 Bonus Scatters and 1 Super Bonus Scatter in the base game triggers the Super Free Spins mode, awarding 5 Free Spins.
The Super Free Spins round follows the same mannerisms as regular Free Spins, only all Stage Multipliers are doubled. Landing 3 or more Scatters awards an additional +5 Free Spins at the current Multiplier Stage.

Our Verdict
Slotmill has played a smart hand with Eternal Dawn, a title that initially looks like the sunnier sibling of Eternal Dusk. The volatility here has been toned down a bit, as has the max win at 6,000x instead of 10,000x. This immediately makes it seem like a bit of an inferior version, but we argue that its features make it just as appealing, and its potential is still great enough for the disparity to be forgiven.
Slotmill has made a few tweaks to Eternal Dawn to differentiate it from its predecessor such as renaming the Wild Surge to Wild Drop, and a bigger difference in free spins with how they work. Each time you level up through the bonus stages, another roaming wild is introduced. No need to land any special symbols, just keep progressing, and the wild count builds naturally. That’s a major departure from Eternal Dusk, where only the appearance of Super Scatters would boost your wild numbers.
There’s also a shift in how multipliers are handled. In Eternal Dusk, the Multiplier is applied to every roaming wild you’ve already collected. Eternal Dawn changes course slightly. In Eternal Dawn, the multiplier only applies to the newly added roaming wilds per stage, giving each fresh one a boost but leaving existing ones untouched. It’s a more measured system, we think.
Overall, Eternal Dawn feels a touch more restrained than its predecessor, but the changes made are purposeful and well thought-out. It carves out its own identity with mechanics that not only differentiate it from Eternal Dusk but also bring a more structured and balanced kind of chaos.
