Set within a dark and foggy Graveyard, Evil Eyes will frighten even the bravest of souls as they face down The Shade!
Base Game & Features
Evil Eyes is a 5×5 Video Slot featuring up to 3,125 ways to win in a single spin. Players can participate by choosing a bet size between £.€0.10 per spin and £.€100 per spin.
Wins occur when 3-5 identical symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Skulls, Crows, Wolves, Spiders, and Demons form the high-paying symbols, with a full line of the highest-paying producing wins of 4x your bet.
Evil Eyes has a theoretical RTP of 96.24%, a High Volatility rating, and a max win cap of 12,500x your bet. Other statistics include lower RTP variants of 94.21%, 92.32%, and 88.36%.
The Evil Eye & Evil Spread Mechanic
Landing an Evil Eye icon under a winning symbol activates the Evil Spread mechanic. Once active, the Evil Eye will mark all the symbols of that win. After this, it will rotate to face Right or Down to reveal the direction of the Evil Eye Spread mechanic.
The Evil Eye Spread mechanic extends the win to the end of the grid in the chosen direction, replacing marked symbols with the winning symbol. If an Evil Eye crosses paths with another, the other Evil Eye will also be replaced.
If the Spread mechanic is activated to the right, there is a chance it will reactivate in the downward direction. Evil Eye icons only appear on reel 3.
Wicked Night Bonus
The Wicked Night Bonus is activated by landing 3 FS Scatters in the base game.
During this round, only non-paying symbols, Evil Eye icons, and Multipliers are present. Each time an Evil Eye icon hits, it will glance either Up, Right, Left, or Down, collecting all Multiplier symbols that cross its gaze. Collected multipliers are added to the Reel Multiplier above each reel they appear.
If the gaze of an Evil Eye crosses another, it will reveal a Multiplier that is added to all Reel Multipliers above the grid. In the Wicked Night Bonus, multiple Evil Eye icons can land at the same time.
This round features 3 Refilling Lives that reset each time an Evil Eye collects a Multiplier. Once all 3 Lives are consumed, the Wicked Night Bonus will end. At the end of the round, all Reel Multipliers are added together and applied to the total win.
Multipliers can have one of the following values:
- Adding Multiplier: 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x
- Multiplying Multiplier: x2, x3, x4, x5, x10
Wicked Epic Drop
The Wicked Epic Drop feature can be randomly activated in the base game. Once active, the main reel set transforms into the Wicked Night Bonus for 1 Spin.
During this spin, at least 3 Evil Eyes and 4 Multipliers are guaranteed to land, with at least 1 Multiplier always being collected. After all wins have been awarded, the game reverts to the base game.

Conclusion
When it comes to the insidious, malevolent and wicked, Hacksaw Gaming are the experts. In many ways, it’s a trademark Hacksaw title, and in others, it’s yet another original release. With elements reminiscent of titles like Chaos Crew, it should feel like a resounding win to those with a soft spot for the simple yet effectively executed multiplier wins.
The Evil Eye and Evil Spread feature keeps the Base Game quite fresh, and with the opportunity for a single spin on the Wicked Eye Drop, it feels rather action-packed all the time. As per Hacksaw customs, it comes equipped with both ‘normal’ free spins and an enhanced bonus mode, whereby low-paying symbols are removed from play for the remainder of the round after the Evil Spread feature.
Hacksaw are strange in that their enhanced bonus is actually completely different from its standard mode. This kind of varying gameplay makes this and other Hacksaw titles quite diverse with a lot to experience.
Statistically, Evil Eyes tick all the boxes with a maximum win of 12,500x the bet. Not Nolimit City big, but pleasantly higher than some of their other titles.
All in all, it’s another quality release, and one to look forward to.
