Our Honest Verdict

Fruit Party 2 meets all our expectations and more. The game looks pretty impressive on paper, thanks to its exceptionally high Multipliers and engaging mechanics; however, our only dispute is that the max win potential (5,000x your bet) has budged from its predecessor.

It’s not often we think of 5,000x as being a relatively small figure, but Pragmatic Play could have built up so much more hype for the sequel to an already exclusive game. Ultimately, this figure is something we’ve come to expect from Pragmatic Play, who tend to use it as a crutch for most of their games.

Very few of their games exceed the 5,000x safety net, while other software developers, like Nolimit City, are taking their releases to new extremes, which contributes toward the allure of a game, in our opinion.

In other areas, the Random Wild Multipliers are, in theory, much more rewarding, but seeing a single Wild with a multiplier doesn’t induce nearly as much excitement as a cluster of fruits.

In the original Fruit Party, symbols could gain Multipliers at any time after a single Avalanche event, creating a sense of anticipation with every spin. In this version, the Wild symbol may not appear after an initial winning cluster, so you know straight away that the imminent avalanche bears no fruit, so to speak.

Don’t get us wrong, Fruit Party 2 is still part of the ‘Fruit Party’ family, so its greatness and potential can’t be denied or trivialised when you look at the bigger picture. Despite some disappointing aspects, we’re confident that Fruit Party 2 is capable of great things, but we think it could have been so much better, given the circumstances.

Overall, we think players will be ecstatic about how Pragmatic Play has gone about designing Fruit Party 2.
