Fruit Party – Oranje Jackpot Slot Review
A cottage with a red-tiled roof sits half-hidden behind the reels, mushroom-trees with teal caps dot the hills, and the whole countryside glows the peach of a late summer evening. The most interesting thing about Fruit Party – Oranje Jackpot isn’t the four progressives it’s named after – it’s that the tumble engine underneath them pays in ways the jackpots never approach. Pragmatic Play‘s 7×7 grid slot pays in connected blocks of five or more, runs high volatility, and takes stakes from 0.20 to 240 a spin.
The Oranje Jackpot layer bolts four progressives – MINI, MAXI, MEGA and GIGA – onto a tumble-and-multiplier engine that’s closer to Fruit Party and Fruit Party 2 than to anything new. Big Bass Splash wore this same orange livery in our 2026 review and arrived with the same catch: every spin funds jackpots the features can’t pay. The fruit has survived worse.
Base Game & Features
There are no paylines here. Symbols pay in blocks of five or more connected horizontally or vertically, and only the highest combination per symbol counts. That single mechanic does most of the work in the base game, because a 7×7 grid with cluster pays rarely sits still for long.
Seven symbols fill the grid: five fruits running from strawberry down to plum, plus a star and a heart at the bottom of the ladder. The difference between a decent block and a monster one is steep, and it grows the further past five you go. Every value below is a multiple of your stake:
- Strawberry – 1x for five, 2.5x for nine, 5x for ten, 15x for twelve, 70x for fourteen, 150x for 15 or more
- Orange – 0.75x for five, 2x for nine, 2x for ten, 12.5x for twelve, 60x for fourteen, 100x for 15 or more
- Green Apple – 0.5x for five, 1.5x for nine, 3x for ten, 10x for twelve, 50x for fourteen, 90x for 15 or more
- Grapes – 0.4x for five, 1.25x for nine, 1.5x for ten, 5x for twelve, 40x for fourteen, 80x for 15 or more
- Plum – 0.3x for five, 1x for nine, 2x for ten, 3x for twelve, 30x for fourteen, 60x for 15 or more
- Star – 0.25x for five, 0.75x for nine, 1.5x for ten, 3x for twelve, 10x for fourteen, 40x for 15 or more
- Heart – 0.2x for five, 0.5x for nine, 1x for ten, 3x for twelve, 10x for fourteen, 20x for 15 or more
Blocks don’t need to sit in a straight line, which is the quiet point of a 7×7 grid. A symbol touching five neighbours on three sides pays exactly the same as a tidy horizontal row, so the middle of the board is worth more than the edges. Big clusters are where the money is, and the paytable bends sharply upwards to reward them.
Tumble Feature
After every winning spin, the winning symbols are paid and removed, the remaining symbols drop to the bottom of the grid, and fresh symbols fall in from above. Tumbling continues for as long as each new arrangement produces another win, and the lot is added to your balance once the chain ends. It’s the engine the whole game runs on.
Random Multipliers
In the base game, every symbol inside a winning block has a random chance to carry a 2x multiplier. The block’s total win is multiplied by the product of all multipliers in the combination, up to a combined ceiling of 256x. A single tidy block of fruit can therefore pay well beyond what the raw paytable suggests.
Where the two mechanics meet is where the game’s character lives. A tumble that clears one block makes room for another, and each new block rolls its own multiplier dice. The ceiling only arrives when enough multiplied symbols land in the same combination, which is rare – but the compounding is what turns a cluster slot into something with a pulse.
Jackpot Bonus Game
At random, at the end of any base-game spin, the Jackpot Bonus Game can open. Up to four progressives – MINI, MAXI, MEGA and GIGA – can run at once, each building quietly from every eligible spin on the network. You pick items on a bonus screen until you reveal three bearing the same name, and that match is the jackpot you take home. Bets from 0.20 up are eligible, and jackpots can’t be won during any feature, so the free spins round and the buy menu both leave the progressives behind.
Fruit Party – Oranje Jackpot Free Spins & Bonus Buy
Hit three or more SCATTER symbols anywhere on the grid and the free spins round begins with 10 spins. Inside the feature, symbols in winning blocks can carry 2x or 4x multipliers – still compounding to a 256x ceiling – and the chance of hitting symbol multipliers is higher than in the base game. Special reels are in play for the duration, which changes what can land and how the blocks build.
Retriggers are generous with spins and mean with scatter counts. Land three or more scatters again and the round extends:
- 3 SCATTER – 10 additional free spins
- 4 SCATTER – 11 additional free spins
- 5 SCATTER – 12 additional free spins
- 6 SCATTER – 13 additional free spins
- 7 SCATTER – 14 additional free spins
One limit matters: the total win of the round is capped at 5,000x your bet, and reaching it ends the round immediately, forfeiting any remaining spins. The cap applies to the base game too. The jackpots sit outside it.
Buy Free Spins
If you’d rather skip the scatter wait, the free spins round – 10 starting spins on the same special reels, with the improved multiplier odds intact – can be bought from the base game for 100x your total bet. At the 0.20 floor that’s 20; at the 240 ceiling it’s 24,000. The progressives don’t follow you into a purchased round.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 6.4/10
This is a lovely-looking slot you play mostly for the multiplier blocks, not the orange bunting strung over it. The real reason to sit down in this particular orchard is the free spins round, where the multiplier odds improve and a good tumble chain can run away with itself.
Its strength is that compounding. Multiplied symbols stack into each other inside one combination, and the paytable rewards big clusters steeply, so the ceiling of the maths genuinely gets reached rather than just being quoted. Its weakness is that the jackpots the game is named for are the least winnable thing in it: four progressives feed on every spin, can’t drop during any feature, and nothing is published that tells you what that costs.
It suits fruit-slot players who enjoy a long, pretty grind and don’t mind a progressive ticking away quietly in the background. Anyone who wants to know what a game returns before playing it will be happier back in the plain orchard next door.
