Base Game & Features
Gates of Hades is a 6-reel, 6-row Video Slot where wins come from the Cluster Pays mechanic, instead of pay lines. This game is classified as a highly volatile slot, offering an overall RTP of 96.52% and a sizable max win cap of 10,000x your bet.
Wins occur when 5-36 matching symbols appear horizontally and vertically adjacent on the grid. Payouts for the 8 High and Low-paying symbols fall between 0.05x and 150x your bet, consisting of crowns, rings, chalices, and 5 individual Gems.
Each winning cluster is removed and replaced with new symbols via an Avalanche Feature. This creates space for additional winning clusters to appear on the grid and continues until no new wins occur.
Wild Symbols
Wild symbols can appear on the grid during a game round, substituting for all symbols except Scatters. When a Wild symbol is in view, it can reveal a random Multiplier between x1 and x100.
During spins and avalanches, each Multiplier that hits is collected into a special Meter above its respective reel. Each winning cluster is multiplied by the sum of all Multipliers that the winning cluster covered on the grid. At the end of a spin, the current Multiplier values are cleared from the meters.

Gates of Hades Slot Free Spins

Our Honest Verdict
After the first 2 releases of Gates of Olympus, the novelty of such functions began to wear off for many players. After learning about Gates of Hades, we were somewhat sceptical about the nature of gameplay. Thankfully, this release has enough changes to make it stand out from its predecessors.
This release takes us into the fiery depths of the underworld, in the company of Hades and his 3-headed companion, Cerberus. The game has many characteristics that tie in with the Gates of Olympus series, particularly the use of Multipliers, but it’s how they are initiated that catches our attention here.
In Gates of Hades, each Multiplier value is attached to a Wild symbol. Instead of being applied at the end of a game round, as seen in Gates of Olympus, each multiplier is added to its respective reel and applied to individual cluster wins. The changes made are small but significant in separating this game from its predecessors.
As expected, the multiplier values are reset for the next base game spin; however, during Free Spins, they become a persistent attraction. Another interesting element is that the minimum multiplier value is boosted from x100 to x500 in Free Spins, creating a higher opportunity to bag the 10,000x max win cap.
