Gates of Olympus Dice Slot Review
Zeus hangs off the right edge of the screen in white robes and gold armbands, a crackling bolt lowered in his hand, while a peach-and-lilac sunset lights the cloud-top temple behind the reels. Gates of Olympus Dice makes a quiet argument: that this engine never needed its gems, and that dice and medium volatility make it easier to like than the original ever was. The artwork is the only thing that changed, and it turns out that was enough.
Pragmatic Play runs a 6×5 grid where symbols pay anywhere, at 96.50% RTP and medium volatility, with stakes from 0.20 to 240. Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice, in 2026, was the familiar loop in candy colours with nothing mechanically new, and that verdict covers this one too. The difference is the gentler ride: pastel Zeus throwing bones, with fewer of the swings.
Base Game & Features
The grid is a 6×5 arrangement of six reels and five rows, and there are no paylines at all. Symbols pay anywhere on the screen: count up every instance of the same symbol once the spin settles, and that total decides the win. Eight or more of a kind is where the paying starts, with the reward rising through the 10-11 and 12-plus tiers.
The theme is the Olympus standard rendered in warm pastel and gold, Zeus floating beside a heavy ornate reel frame topped with an arched banner. The symbols are lightning-charged dice in blue, green, purple and red, plus a gold dot die and a set of white pip dice for the lower tiers.
Pays are multiples of stake, by symbol count:
- Blue Lightning Dice: 50x for 12-30, 25x for 10-11, 10x for 8-9
- Green Lightning Dice: 25x for 12-30, 10x for 10-11, 2.5x for 8-9
- Purple Lightning Dice: 15x for 12-30, 5x for 10-11, 2x for 8-9
- Red Lightning Dice: 12x for 12-30, 2x for 10-11, 1.5x for 8-9
- Gold Dot Dice: 10x for 12-30, 1.5x for 10-11, 1x for 8-9
- White Dice (5-pip): 8x for 12-30, 1.2x for 10-11, 0.8x for 8-9
- White Dice (2-pip): 5x for 12-30, 1x for 10-11, 0.5x for 8-9
- White Dice (4-pip): 4x for 12-30, 0.9x for 10-11, 0.4x for 8-9
- White Dice (1-pip): 2x for 12-30, 0.75x for 10-11, 0.25x for 8-9
Tumble Feature
Every winning combination is paid, then the winning symbols vanish and everything left falls to the bottom of the grid. Fresh symbols drop in from above to fill the gaps. If those form new wins, the sequence keeps tumbling, and there’s no cap on how many times it can chain. Once a sequence ends with no win, the lot goes to the balance.
Clearing dice burst in a flicker of lightning as they go, so a long chain has a visual rhythm to it. The grid fills from the top each time, meaning a single spin can rebuild the screen several times over before it settles.
Multiplier Symbols
Multiplier symbols can land at random during any spin or tumble, in both the base game and the free spins. Each carries a value drawn from a fixed ladder:
- 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x and 8x at the low end
- 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x and 25x through the middle
- 50x, 100x, 250x and 500x at the top
When the tumble sequence finishes, every multiplier on screen is added together and the total win of the sequence is multiplied by that sum. One sequence can end with several of them stacked.
Ante Bet
Two bet multipliers are on offer before you spin. At 25x, the chance of landing free spins naturally is doubled, with more scatter symbols loaded onto the reels, but the free spins purchase is switched off. At 20x, the buy option stays available.
It’s a straight choice between better odds of the trigger or the ability to skip the queue. Both cost more per spin than the standard stake, and neither changes what the round itself pays.
Double Chance to Win Feature
A toggle labelled Double Chance to Win Feature sits alongside the bet controls, shown switched off in the game’s interface.
Gates of Olympus Dice Free Spins & Bonuses
Landing four or more scatter symbols anywhere on the screen starts the round with 15 free spins. Special reels are in play for the duration. The core of it is the running multiplier: whenever a multiplier symbol lands on a winning spin, its value is added to a total that persists for the whole round.
Every subsequent winning spin that lands a multiplier is paid at that running total, so the number only climbs. A round that strings together a few multiplier hits early has every later win riding on the accumulated figure, which is where the big results come from.
Retriggers are generous. Three or more scatters during the round add five free spins, and a round can retrigger indefinitely. One that keeps feeding scatters keeps the running multiplier alive with it.
Buy Free Spins
The free spins round can be bought instantly from the base game for 100x the current total bet. At the 20x bet multiplier the option is live; enable the 25x ante bet and it’s disabled, since that mode already improves the natural trigger odds. That’s the whole pricing structure: one round, one price, no tiered menu.
Our Honest Verdict
Overall Rating: 7.1/10
Spinning this feels like a long evening on Olympus with the volume turned down. You’re here for the pastel sunset and Zeus rolling bones down a marble terrace, and if that appeal lands, the session underneath it is a smooth one.
The free spins round is the best thing in it, because a running multiplier that survives spin after spin gives every collected value a second and third life, and retriggers that never stop mean a good round can outstay its opening fifteen by a wide margin. The weakness is simpler: nothing here is mechanically new, and the maximum win stops at 5,000x the bet.
It’s a comfortable home for anyone who loves this format but doesn’t want the brutal swings, and those chasing the sharpest edge in the family already know where the harder builds live. For the rest, the terrace is warm and the dice are rolling.
